I just finished watching the entire season and I have NEVER felt like this because of a tv series. I got butterflies watching the two and I love how it was so diverse with having people with different backgrounds, skin types, sexualities, etc without making it so obvious but rather normalized. Compared to American gay (or even straight) teen romance, this wasn’t very sexual but rather defined how love is love and if you love someone, you are willing to put up a fight. That's why I love their relationship. It's not in any way toxic... It's only two people experiencing first love within unfortunate circumstances. But they respect each other and Simon knows his own worth so they break up without a full stop.

When this was played on the last scene when wilhem hugged simon and he said i love you even when people were staring at them..... The only thing i said was "awwwwwww" and i become teary eyed.... i cant wait for Season 2.... ♥️

True. Who cares what the others say? They are doing nothing wrong. That hug is their feelings. Wilhelm loves Simon dearly. And Simon loves Wilhelm, even though he has broken up (for the time being). *I think that hug deserves to be among the most beautiful ones ever seen in films and TV series.*
