I was born and raised in W-B but we moved to another state in the late 70s. I used to go back during the summers for a few years. It was a great place to grow up back then but I’ve heard it’s gone down hill for many years now. Depressing, seeing so many run down homes. Things were different back then.

I lived in WB and Hanover township from 93-99. When I saw a pawn shop open up on Main Street, I knew it wasalll downhill from there. It’s garbage everywhere, houses are rundown. It looks really bad now

Goddamnit, he drove right past my apartment, I guess I officially live in the hood. In all honesty, Wilkes Barre isn't the prettiest place but if you're not involved in things you shouldn't be, you dont have anything to worry about, everyone in my part of the "hood" are cool folks and I've experienced nothing but positivity in my immediate surroundings.

I was Born and raised here i literally just moved from here 6 months ago to north Carolina as long as you mind you business and keep it moving youll do just fine although there is so much drug running its unreal you can get fet on every corner and not to mention the shootings but like i said just mind you business and keep pushing but at the end of the day its my home town and i love it and always will 💯💯💯
