Excellent upload. The line-up is Wilko Johnson and Lew Lewis with Russell Strutter on bass and Topper Headon on drums. I saw them at The Marquee club in London, with Alan Platt depping for Topper. Alan was a great, driving drummer and had the kit bouncing up and down with the power of his playing. The club was hot, the band was loud and Wilko, Lew and the lads were on great form and gave us a shit-hot show!

+BackToTheBlues . The drummer was also Alan Platt on that date .

+patrice buzz It looks like Topper on the footage - he had cropped, dark hair whereas Alan had a lot of blondish hair which went all over the place as he drummed (check out various Wilko Johnson's Solid Senders vids)., Whoever it is, thank you for it, and I wish there was more of it!

+BackToTheBlues . We spent the afternoon with them backstage apart from Wilko and I know it was not Topper but a ginger/ blondish drummer . Great afternoon by the way , singing R'n'b stuff , drinking and else . Lew invited us to the restaurant saying we were his cousins but the promoteur knew us so it did not work . He also used one of my friend's Harmonica on one song after dipping it in a glass of wisky . One of the best gig I ever seen and great memories .

That sounds like Alan Platt for sure! Just doesn't look like him in the video. I was friends on the net with Steve Lewins who used to play bass with Wilko in the Solid Senders, and he spoke very fondly of Alan, he liked him a lot and would quote Alan's saying 'be of good cheer'. Have you seen someone's uploaded a vid of Lew Lewis Reformer playing live that they found in a garage? It's pretty good stuff!

Looks like Buzz Barwell (RIP) on drums to me. I saw him the same year of 1982 in Dundalk (July 3rd) with Dr Feelgood.

100% Buzz Barwell on the drums.

I loved Lew, back in the day.. Reformer were the most incendiary & powerful band, blasting thru the post punkness of London's last pub bastions. Wilko & Lew coincided for two nights at the Marquee. Lengendary wail.
