Very interesting video, but I have a question regarding your results. Many HF radios use an external 12V power supply - does yours? I’ve seen some discussions that such line noise is not likely to pass through the 12v supply, doing away with the need of this filter. Honestly, I disagree. I found that coaxial choke filters, which target common mode noise seem to be more beneficial. Thanks for taking the time to make this video!

Will, just came across your video which was very useful. I am in the process of building the filter to resolve my issues. I was considering using "hot melt" glue to secure the can and ferrites. Have you heard of any issue regarding this method? Kind regards Sid M0WCH
