Metempsychosis is also characterized by beliefs and convictions, but, in general, takes its root in a mythological cosmology that insert the human, in his body and soul, into the physical world. If ancient religions have clearly put a gap between the divine and the human, christianism has established a strong link between the two, in the form of "Jesus". Still, the matter of the behaviour of the humans in their physical environnement is not addressed in none of the foundations of the Church ( Occidentalism ), but is a central question in other religions, or philosophies, some of which do include metempsychosis ( orientalism ).
