Blood of Jesus has been found 24 chromosomes still alive, many things the Bible says that has happened have actually been proven to happen like the Red Sea, over 2000+ prophecies and not a single one is wrong non have been proven wrong. And remember the Bible was written 2000 years ago and no one can’t make 2000+ predictions in the future without being divine (aka God, or given the power of God) what more proof do you want? If you genuinely want to know God then all it takes Is a little humility (as that's what God is looking for) Open up the word, (bible) and say (with a genuine heart) "I'm not totally sure if you exist, if you do, I'm here to learn who, and what you are. Please show me" He will never turn away an honest, humble person. Never. If not now, then please, keep it in the back of your mind. You won't regret it, if you do come to God. God bless. As for other faiths, there is only one God, and He is the only one I acknowledge as legitimate, as He has written in His word "I am the only God, and know of no others". I am telling you the same thing that they would tell their children, yes. But, how would you explain the love that comes from true christianity? You find a love in christianity that no other religion has. Not only that, but it hates all forms of evil. Everything that causes pain, and grief, the God of the bible hates! He's telling the man the truth. Either Jesus was a liar and the God of the Bible is not real, or he was telling the truth. And based on the eyewitness in the Scriptures, it is hard to believe that they would sacrifice their own lives for spreading the truth of they thought all of it was a lie. The best thing to do is open up the Bible and read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke and decide if it is truth for yourself.

agnosticism isn't a religion... a means not and gnostic means knowledge or knowing... so not knowing. But you can't JUST be agnostic. If someone asks you do you believe in God? and you say "I don't know". Thats not answering the question. If you say "I don't believe in one but there could be" then you'd be an agnostic atheist. If on the other hand you say "I know for a fact there is NOT a god you'd be a gnostic atheist". The same goes for theism. A gnostic theist is certain of gods existence. And an agnostic theist simply believes but isnt certain. I think many people that refer to themselves as agnostic either don't know what it really means or have a hard time calling themselves atheist. A lot of people think it's a philosophy or religion But it's simply not believing in a god. No more no less.

We need to discuss this and its difficult to do here in a YT comment section and not face to face as I wish it to be. I don't know the details and assuming things can take us way off course. What I hear you saying is you speak of christianity like its some kind of club a person joins..or a pill you swallow..and when you say your prayer just right with some religious sounding words God appears.."things" begin to happen...and this somehow verifies what you've done and validates "Christianity". It does neither. Religion is mans way to reach God. Christianity is God's way to reach man. Christianity is a relationship with God. Sometimes that relationship does start off in unmistakable and physical ways that the person experiences but more often than not "nothing" happens - at least nothing in the way of physical manifestations. Write this down on a sticky note and place it where it can serve to remind you that your salvation thru the death and resurrection of Jesus is a "FACT" not a "FEELING". You want physical "feelings" to go with your physical prayers but your salvation is spiritual. You're waiting for something to happen to your physical mind and body..but your physical mind and body is not what Jesus came to save. He came to save your soul which the bible tells us was d-e-a-d. It was never "alive". Jesus said it needed to be born again. Only He can provide that. A new body comes later but for now He promises that your name will be written in the Lambs book of LIFE. He promises once this physical life is over you will join Him in heaven. If His actions on that cross and words of promise towards you are not enough proof for you then what would be? A new car? A bag of cash? A big screen tv? Fame & fortune? There were people who witnessed Jesus' miracles..looked directly into His eyes...ate the fish and bread He provided...saw blind people get their vision...heal the deaf..take leprosy away..raise a dead man....and just a few months later scream out - CRUCIFY HIM! Why? Because when He didn't do another miracle or give them the "feeling" they wanted they had no more use for Him. They called Him a fraud. A liar. And they turned their backs on Him. Are you one of those people? You prayed the prayer and said the words but a relationship that lasts thru an etetnity deserves more than the 5 minutes you gave Him. No?

The reason it is shared in such a way, is because men are blind to their own wickedness, and when you show them the moral law (10 commandments) it shines the light upon their conscience. You can reject such a light, and think your understanding is better than God's word, but we don't say this to condemn people, we show them this to show that God has a disdain for such actions as we already know to be wrong, and will punish them for wilfully committing those evils, because He is a just God. His love is sure, and that's why we have the chance to repent, and trust in the Savior He sent to us. The love that God puts in our hearts (amongst those who really know God) compels us to share the bad news we had to hear to be converted before we can share the good news. Does that make sense?

No one can tell me there was a builder.'" Comfort is making the argument that just like a building requires a builder, then a human being requires a creator. But a human being is not a building. Just because one requires a builder does not mean that the other does. So according to Comfort, you can't get from a worm to a human being. Hundreds of years of evolutionary science proves him wrong. He knows this, so rather than confront the science, he shifts the ground from worms to buildings, saying that a human being isn' like a worm, requiring biology. Instead, it's like a building, requiring a builder. He provides no evidence either to refute the first argument or support the second. It's just an assertion. Do you follow? Most of Comfort's arguments are like that. If you don't know any better, they seem to sound good on the surface, but they fall apart with even a little bit of thinking. That's why, like all hucksters, his patter moves along quickly. That, and he edits out any questions or responses that might be inconvenient.

As an agnostic its refreshing to hear this dude..as always, the Christian just cannot accept somebody else's beliefs...just be ok with the fact that this guy is good with believing that we really don't know...people don't want to hear they're going to burn in a fiery hell because they don't believe in what you believe...so lets all stop that shall we :)

Well said! Because the TRUTH is nobody knows. That's why they're called believers and not knowers. And the idea of a being so advanced as the purported GOD being reduced to a level equal with humans, whereby he/she/it exudes unenlightened characteristics ( i.e. jealousy, vengeance, pettiness ) diminishes all credibility. And to expect any even remotely intelligent person to cast aside reason and deny all their perceptions that are fundamentally instrumental in obtaining knowledge is unreasonable itself. The teachings of Jesus are by and large beautiful and honorable (as are Buddha's & others) and very compelling. But this idea of reward & punishment based on your decision whether or not to believe ONE book....arbitrarily compiled from authors who offer no proof of claim is frankly ridiculous. How much more of a stretch would it be to supplant Santa Claus into the equation and go from there? I appreciate this interviewer's concern for the salvation of his fellow man...assuming it's sincere, but your "beliefs" can often times be synonymous with folly. I mean I used to "believe" in the tooth fairy.

@@debipepper completely agree...kinda goes with the whole "his actions r too complicated for us to understand" but wouldn't it be possible that an image of an actual higher power is just too complicated for us to understand? Could be anything really. It's TOO defined. It almost seems like we're given too many concrete answers from this book that really just shouldn't, or couldn't be answered, and they're all written in a beautiful story form with perfect morals and lessons to be learned in every story. Beautiful, clever, and creative? Definitely. The absolute truth? Not for me. I do like to keep an open mind about ALL possibilities.

I really liked the agnostic guy I also identify myself as agnostic, because I don't want to say I'd know something I don't. Sometimes it makes me sad when people don't accept my opinion, because I don't have a problem with them believing in God. Why do they have a problem with me not wanting to believe? Isn't it my life and my choice?

Problem with religious ppl especially religious extremists is that they force ther ideologies & beliefs on others, will discriminate if you're not 1 of them & does everything (especially crazy things & claims) in the name of God & religion.

This man is awesome. It’s so refreshing to hear the truth. The real truth. If there were a hymn for the hypothetical church of agnosticism, it would be titled “I don’t know, and neither do you.” I appreciate Christians, the good ones at least. And I think the interviewer is a good one. He cares and wants to help. But, what he doesn’t understand is…I don’t have any way of knowing that he’s right. I could spend my one life praising Jesus but still go to some other religion’s version of hell because I didn’t spend my life…I don’t know…killing infidels or seeking nirvana. Maybe I choose one church based on Christianity and I STILL end up in hell because It turns out that God thinks I should have been protesting at gay funerals. Some people think that they need to these things to get to heaven. I think they are wrong, so do many other Christians. But really, being wrong feels exactly the same as being right. We need proof to find out what is objective. I think it’s awfully unfair that a deity expects us to find the right way to serve them, then punish us for making the wrong choice. It’s like me laying down 52 cards face down and telling someone to pick the ace of spades, and if they get any other card, I shoot them in the face. Until I hear a booming voice from the sky say “third row down, fifth card from the left” I’m not picking a card.
