@2:00 My mom was _obsessed_ with people claiming to be "watchmen on the wall" and... pretty much *every. single. prediction.* of theirs was wrong. She died of lung cancer in Dec. 2022 the whole while she would go "the rapture is gonna be next week/month" and "there won't be a next year we'll be gone by then" (this was especially annoying because I tried to get mom and dad to do stuff like fix/improve things on the house and mom'd tell me that it's useless because the rapture is soon, and dad gave up because mom always dug her heels in and wouldn't do anything) ... and if I didn't immediately agree with her and get all excited for the rapture, she'd tell me that I wasn't following the Lord good enough or something... I just got so tired of hearing of it over and over and over again. Don't get me wrong, I want the rapture to happen, it's the Blessed Hope and all that... but yet I don't want to let myself down by thinking it's going to happen sooner than it truly is. I'm going to live day to day, until the Lord deems that He doesn't want me down here any longer. Now, if I go in the rapture, awesome. If I die because someone shoots me, eh, might be a bit scary, might be painful, but in the end, I'm still going to the same place all the same. But until the Lord removes me from the earth in whatever way He chooses, I'm going to do my best to live life, hopefully following His guidance.

Sorry to hear that and prayers are with you for the sorrow that you endured. The scriptures present a tempered (balanced) perspective we should have. We should be ready for the translation (rapture) but also ready to keep pressing forward in faith and continue to be productive. Dont give up paying the bills, spend time with your families, etc. Prepare for the amount of time we have left and only God knows.

I am really sorry about your experience with your mom. I was at one point in your mom’s shoes during a psychotic episode that lasted for MONTHS. I still love Jesus and am excited for the rapture but once I got better I chose to live each day for Jesus and redeem all the time I lost during that episode. I’ve noticed that Christians who are myopically obsessed with the Rapture are often extremely conspiratorial, reclusive, joyless Christians who are not focused on preaching to and loving towards the lost, but rather are storing up for a doomsday for themselves. You have to realize that doom and gloom ministries and teachers have been around for a LONG TIME and having this spirit of fear and doom is mentally draining and does nothing.

I'm right there with you. I think the same damn way. I do have faith and trust in God and Jesus. The rapture will happen, definitely, however we keep living our lives and just keep looking up to the sky waiting with true expectations. We just dont know the day or the hour. But you keep looking up and know in your heart and your spirit Jesus will be here. A side from all that, we stand in the gap and keep spreading the truth of the gospel. God bless.

A group of 4-5 Mexican guys just moved in down the street from us recently which of itself is not so much an issue, but they are all from Texas and there are no women or children, just military aged males and they sit outside and drink constantly if they aren't working. Fridays I work downtown and see more people there as well that I did not see last year either, not roving bands exactly but I see more foot traffic and small groups milling about from time to time. I carry with me everywhere I go anymore and hope I never have a need for it but it is looking like a possibility more and more. I urge the brethren that don't to start doing so as well. I recommend nothing smaller than 9x19 and something that has good expansion and little over penetration like Hornady Critical Defense. Start taking classes if you can and familiarize yourselves with the use of it so you can protect yourselves and your families.

The Lord called me out of the US 2 weeks before the 2020 election. Every time it occurs to me to return, for any reason, I bring it to the Lord and He always tells me to stay where I am, and not to go back to the US. Now less than ever. But I don't take it for granted, and I stay on guard against inertia. I will leave tomorrow if He tells me to. But at this point, with all the confirmation I've received, I would be surprised. I'm just glad my mother is in Heaven and doesn't have to see what the US has become. With God's help, I will finish my race and see her and the Lord (among others) at the appointed time. I've publicly voiced this concern several times, offering plausible hypotheses and motivation for timing the next big phase of their plan to coincide with the election season, particularly since they've added the knowledge gained from their 2020 wargames.
