I have no IT background at all. But started a course in cloud computing this year. I have just passed the AWS cloud practitioner exam and have been asked this question too. What does this certificate empower you to do? How will it help you find a Job? Tho I doubt that this certificate will help me find a Job, it definitely gave me confidence in my ability to move further with this new goal of mine to enter into the tech world. It also motivated me a lot. And I think this confidence and motivation to learn even more and clear more certificates and go further will help me eventually find a Job next year, when my course is done. Obviously also already have some Projects that I am gonna work on, now that the Basics are settled.

This journey is expensive. Wanna become a cloud engineer but the certs are pricey and your website is not free either. Please advise.

Coursera is a really good place to get certifications, $53 a month for the plus plan lets you take unlimited amount of courses. I'm about halfway done with my AWS cloud architect certification

How many months required to complete az900 completely?
@techwithsoleyman11 ай бұрын
Not sure I do AWS
@jmesweeney11 ай бұрын
Depends on a few things... how quickly you pick things up / if you're completely new to IT or are an experienced IT engineer familiar with the Enterprise way of doing things... I would say 1-3 months if new to Enterprise cloud IT or 1 month for someone who is familiar/experienced. I've done a video on the AZ-900 myself and passed it. It's heavy on terminology/models etc not so much technical.. that's where the AZ-104 comes in 👍

To complete az900 you acutually need very basic knowledge. If you have any previous experience in IT you should be able to pass an exam after 1-2 months of learning.
