It's not looking too promising for Will with recent news. I'm pretty sure they've announced that they will not be adding any more character which means he will not have a love interest (that isn't part of the storyline). So they might either: insinuate a love interest for him in the epilogue, he dies (really hope he doesn't), or that maybe Byler fans are getting on to something (doubt it, but I just want Will to be in a relationship, especially since everyone else is).

That shot of Jonathan looking into the rear view mirror was a great touch. I really like how they’re handling Will’s character. Yeah, he’s been sidelined. A lot of our main cast has been (I mean look at Mike. He’s been reduced to just El’s boyfriend, and he used to be the main character). But despite being sidelined, he still gets a chance to shine here and there. Anyway, This scene was probably one of my favorite scenes so far in the show. The dialogue especially is pretty good. One problem I have with Stranger Things, despite really enjoying it, is that the dialogue relies (occasionally) on cliches. This scene, in addition to having superb acting, however, is well-written. Though the one bit with Will wanting to play Nintendo and D&D edges a little close to parody of his character. But other than that, it’s good. I’m looking forward to how things turn out for Will.

As a gay teenager, I know if I was a teenager in the 80’s I wouldn’t have come out, things were waaaaay different back than. This was the perfect way to show how lost and miserable Will feels about his identity. I found it so relatable. THIS!!! i've seen so many people hate on the duffers for not being straight forward but i honestly think it makes for an even better experience to watch will blossom before our eyes rather than have him say the words bluntly. to me, him saying the words outright would take away from the true experience of what it is really like to be lgbtq+, especially back in his time like you said.

@@bellagiglio6265 EXACTLY! Like I really love that they arent outright about it because its realistic. But i do also feel so bad that Will feels that he has to hide his feelings. Its something i have also felt myself. Feeling like I need to keep my actually feelings in order to keep someone happy.. @@peachyarts386 yeah i do feel for him because i also see A LOT myself in him even besides sexuality. i feel like for people to see what the duffers were really trying to do with his story this season by not saying the words explicitly, they would have to have gone through the same experiences (which is a pretty selective audience). and i'm not just talking about being lgbtq+, i'm talking about having lived through the emotional and sometimes miserable experience that is questioning your sexuality/freshly to terms with it. it makes for a raw, humanistic, and unbelievably beautiful story that i can't put into words. and top all of that with noah's acting... goes without saying

I was bullied a lot as an Indian kid in a white rural school and I always thought that I didn’t belong anywhere or was worthy of someone loving me when there were some girls that I really loved. And I still feel that way sometimes but Will literally just showed that it’s ok to feel alone and depressed as it happens to a lot of people. Will's storyline is the most hardest life, especially in the 80s. Even though we dont get to see about will as much as the other characters in st: In season 1 he was barely there because he was missing and in season 2 he got possessed and couldn't get along with his friends for half of the season and then season 3 I literally felt like he was not there. he was always talking about DnD but his friends dont agree to play because of their gfs and in season 4 when he moves to California THEN the boys play DnD like are u kidding me?. Basically in season 4 he was a third wheel, only in v2 we got confirmed of his sexuality. I can tell he is good actor but he is very underrated, in my opinion I would say he is the most underrated character in all of st. But I hope he is the main focus in st5 and we get to see him confess to Mike and el being sad and all of stuff like that. I'm really excited how this love triangle will go. Just Cant wait for st5.

Seeing what Will's drawing was made me think back on when we first see Will, Mike, Dustin and Lucas playing D&D together in Season 1. It's a perfect artistic representation of what the friendship between these characters evolved from and how it has evolved and grown over the years since then. This group of friends, Johnathan, Steve, Nancy and Robin, and Hopper and Joyce are all one big, incredible family of brave, kind, and resilient individuals that we've all grown to love so much since Stranger Things first came into our lives. The likes of this kind of cast of characters in a TV series is definitely one for the history books.

We need more scenes with Will, Mike and Jonathan. The only thing that I kinda didn't like about season 4 was the lack of these characters scenes.
@fatihsonmez82652 жыл бұрын
But I think that's the biggest mistake they've made this season. I know people love characters like eddie or robin but these characters hinder the development of main characters like will , mike and jonathan .

This scene will never NOT shatter my heart. Will is so precious and kind to everyone, and he is so head over heels in love for his best friend… who loves his sister. And will really LOVES his sister too, he’s trapped in an unwinnable situation… if he made his love known, it would break his sisters heart and probably ruin his friendship. He has to choose to accept the pain for himself so he doesn’t cause his favorite people pain… Will is too good for this world.

The way Mike looked at him, call me delusional maybe I am but I still believe Mike understood what Will was really saying and I still believe Mike feels the same way. That "yeah?" with that soft look was in my eyes Mike realizing what Will feels for him and basically asking "will you really always need me, even after how I've been treating you?" I refuse to believe anything else, even if I have to live in denial for the rest of my life

I love how the painting also has Lucas and Dustin. The best thing about Will’s love c*cking is that he never takes it out on Eleven or anyone else, he’s not completely wrapped up in Mike either. He still cares about Lucas and Dustin

What I like about this show is that all of this stuff has been carefully written in from the beginning, they didn’t suddenly make the characters like this. If you go back and watch the first episode when Joyce reports Will missing to Hopper, she says “Lonnie (Wills dad) used to say he was queer. Called him a F@g.”
@danidkg4071 Жыл бұрын
he's so talented, i could 100% feel everything he felt for mike in every scene. he's so desperate to hear mike say that they're friends, to treat him as his best friend again, and yet it's still not enough. but he can't do anything about that.
