I think people struggle with the English language. The quote is “he feels as strongly about Bo Nix as he did about Patrick Mahomes.” Everyone assumes he’s comparing BN to PM. But that’s not what the grammar says. It simply means he has similar feelings and not the quarterbacks are similar. So let’s take that one step further. What that means is he’s as excited about what he sees in BN as he was when looking at PM. Doesn’t mean they’re the same at all. So I laugh when all these self proclaimed experts around the country laugh when they say Sean thinks Bo is like Pat. Learn English.

I hope Denver isn’t so dumb that they would rag on Zach Wilson even if he is way ahead of Bo Nix for the next 3 years. Remember…The Jets had the worst O Line in the NFL for Zach…he had 3 different O.C.’s and Denver has an O Line that is 15-20 teams better. Nix needs to grow….show me a rookie QB that did well…Zach had a nightmare experience….wait until you see how good Zach is…but I can still see the Broncos fans chanting “we want Bo” and if you get what you want good luck with Bo Nix….let him grow..let Zach grow and if Bo can be an NFL QB great Zach can be traded for big bucks…but Zach is really talented.

Any person or anyone who did not like Bo Nix at first obviously does not know football what can you be missing when you watch his film the man is the most accurate passer in the draft he is the quickest processor at anyone in the draft not to mention he's already married so he's established he's not going to be out looking to get laid or try to impress people he's in my opinion extremely grounded and with those traits how in the hell can you not be excited as I am when it comes to our franchise quarterback this man right here is the right pick for the right team I don't care if he was the number one overall pick it doesn't matter if you identify him as your franchise quarterback you don't worry about what other people think unlike a lot of other people when it comes to this franchise in a couple months and they're all going to say he's the best he's the man he's amazing guess what I've been saying it since college he's going to be the best quarterback out of this class 3 years from now you'll see one year from now you'll see I am a true bo nix believer 💯

Nix is a bust. There were only 3 legit QBs in this draft, and they went 1,2,3. The rest will be lucky if they become QB2s in t NFL. Of course, the Broncos have no choice but to eventually start Nix and hope for the best.

Pro Bowls are not that revelant. It's a questionable voting heavily based on popularity and stats that might not lead to significant accomplishments. Philip Rivers went to 8 Pro Bowls and finished his career with a 5-7 postseason record, 0 conference championship wins, 0 Super Bowl appearances. Eli Manning had 4 Pro Bowls but left the NFL with 2 shiny rings.

This is exactly correct. In fact as a ZW fan, I'm not particularly happy about it. ZW will start the first 6-7 games. Bo will come in to "save" the season. If you look at the last several drafts of QB's..the ones that worked (including Mahomes) are where the Drafted QB sits first. I don't think BN is ready day one. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. best case for ZW is that he plays great, and goes into free agency and goes to his third team. worst case if you are a ZW fan is Bo plays before game 5.

I think people are falling for the line coming from the Jets about Zach. His second to last game as a Jet, he destroyed Houston and won AFC Offensive Player of the Week. His last game - he was pressured on an astounding 78% of his dropbacks, sacked 4 times in 15 dropbacks, and suffered a season-ending concussion. He was running for his life most of the season as the only QB in the NFL last year who was pressured on more than 30% of his dropbacks. He's not what the Jets management and media are trying to lead everyone to believe, as if it turns out Zach is not horrible, that implicates their failure to develop him. Some say after A-Rod was injured, Hackett refused to change the offense for Zach. Look at how many times the Jets got behind by running on 1st and 2nd down (unsuccessfully) on consecutive drives. That o-line was historically bad.

@@ronfunk3020 Wilson played with no O line, terrible coaching, receivers who consistently dropped balls, a terrible fan base, and an idiotic NY media. It was a tough and cruel environment for a young kid. If given new life here, I bet he shines...but, Nix is the future here. Wilson will eventually be traded after he re-establishes himself as an NFL QB. He has the talent, put this kid on the 49ers or Chiefs, and he would light it up. Unfortunately, I think Nix is going to end up as another bust for the Broncos down the line.

Nix is 24, Wilson is 24. Essentially, the Broncos have two rookies in camp. Wilson was mismanaged with the Jets...his first real day under a real HC will be this year.

The college game is not the pro game, so being in it a year longer than normal has little relevance in terms of preparing a QB for the NFL.. If you spent an extra year in college getting an English degree would that qualify you as a computer programmer? Here's the problem we're looking at here. Bo NIx played 4 of his 5 seasons in the same exact offensive system that Jarrett Stidham did at Auburn. That system is one of the worst in all of college football in terms of preparing a QB for the NFL. Stidham left & went to the NFL after 3 years. When he got to the Patriots he knew virtually nothing about how to read NFL defenses. That's the word from Jordan Palmer, the QB trainer who coached Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, & multiple other QBs including Stidham. Palmer said it had nothing to do with his intelligence. It had to do with him learning almost nothing at Baylor & Auburn that helped him for the NFL. Stidham spent the next 3 years with Brady, Belichick & Josh McDaniels before Payton signed him and praised him as a QB who can read defenses and has a high degree of football intelligence. That is what Bo Nix is going to face. Just like Stidham, he is not going to be ready to play as a rookie.
