not sure if anyone is gonna read this but i got to see brock purdy play in highschool and im still waiting for him to truly become comfortable with his play style. When purdy gets in the zone, he is a monster, please do me a favor if you havent already and check out his highschool plays, he turned some of the worst plays into touchdowns with unbelievable control

Honestly one of Purdy's throws that impressed me the most was where Purdy was running back to the right to avoid the pressure, and off his back foot, he threw the ball away, fading back, all the way out of bounds, and I thought at first, the ball wouldn't make it all the way to the sidelines, and get intercepted, but his arm was stronger than I thought, Jimmy would have either gotten sacked, or thrown a blind interception, with his eyes closed.p

Sudfield is a good backup but he has reached his ceiling while purdy's ceiling is still TBD but he has played equally as well as Sudfield. You have to go with Purdy as the 3rd QB behind Trey and Jimmy. If a team picks up Sudfield, you can grab another QB with Sudfields potential. You wont find another QB like purdy in the draft unless u somehow draft Spencer Rattler

Depends on what happens with Jimmy G. I watched 49ers Talk earlier today and Matt likes Sudfeld better than Purdy. Taller and stronger arm according to him. I like Purdy better. Nobody would pick up Sudfeld if he is waived but I bet a team would pick up Purdy. After Lance looked like crap today throwing 3 picks and should have been 4, they may keep Jimmy G around a little longer.

If Purdy is not on the 53, then likely he's gone. He will be swooped up by another backup QB desperate team if waived, before he gets to the practice squad. Lynch and Shanahan know that is likely. I'd much rather risk Sudfeld being waived than Purdy. Sudfeld will probably not be claimed on waivers.

I dont think experience ranks higher that natural talent. If thats the case so many starters right now wouldnt have gotten that chance (Brady, Wilson, Cousins, Roethlisberger, etc) if purdy is equal with Suffield, you have to go with youth because there is no way a rookie should even be in close compettition. I think they keep 3 but it will be Trey, Jimmy and Purdy. PS Sudfield

Brock doesn't have the true arm strength nor true athletic ability to "Add lib" , when he gets to "add libbing" he reminds me of Tony Romo, watch in big pressure games he won't play well, because the "add libbing" is present in his mind and eats seconds of thinking, example instead of looking at 2nd read , his brain thinks to 'add lib' and with good teams and high pressure thinking that way when again, you don't have the arm strength nor true athletic ability, expect disappointment!

Well he is just a rookie and has played very well so far and has all the tools that you just can't teach. His add libbing seems like a good thing so far,that play that Aiyuk dropped was a great play. Brock is definitely athletic and quick. As far as his arm strength being so called poor well that's the same thing people said about Montana,Brady,Brees....etc arm strength is overrated Jamarcus Russell had an amazing arm but where did he go. Brock is only going to get better and better he has great accuracy,poise,makes his reads and plays smart and he has the most important attribute and that is his competitive fire to get better and improve. I dont expect them to win it all this year but I do think Purdy will bring home title #6 and hopefully many more.

By the way, fire Shanahan and put DeMeco Ryans as the head coach and Griese as the offensive coordinator and play caller. Its time to turn the page on Shanahan and his dumb mistakes such as turning away Tom Brady and agreeing to Tray. Put Lynch on a very short leash and primarily draft offensive lineman, which he has not done.
