Hardly illegal. But the name of your firm must be on the lead consent and s lead gen firm may only sell to one “seller” ( formerly, “buyer” ) Agents are going to have to self-generate leads now on their own ad accounts and landing pages. And captive agents cannot use the corporate name. It must be their own LLC. My firm us ready to get swamped with small businesses needing their own branded campaigns.

Yes, this will affect the majority of agents if this is fully implemented. The most obvious change would be in aged lead purchases which MANY agents are forced to use due to the cheaper costs. If these are no longer available, many agents will not make it. I do believe that generating your own online leads is the wave of the future in this industry, ESPECIALLY, if this ruling goes through.

You make a great point about aged. It will dry up. However, agents may buy trigger data and use to send direct mail. Remember as well, none of tgis applies to manual dialing. If you press your fingers you may dall anyone not on the DNC

Yeah but most salespeople regardless of industry are not set up to generate their own leads it's just not logical There definitely needs to be changes in this industry speaking about lead generation the easiest and most logical fix is to ban Not American countries from calling into American populations

@@yougotmymoney Pakistanis calling a data list is the least of my worries. The vast majority of leads are generated using social media ads and opt-in forms. The. They're resold more than a worker in the oldest profession in the world.

Yeah I get it but most sales people won’t learn. You’re right though only the strong survive
