Chase Briscoe met with NASCAR reporters this week over Zoom to discuss his uncertain future. His team Stewart-Haas Racing is shutting down operations at the end of this season & Briscoe is now the favorite to replace Martin Truex Jr at Joe Gibbs Racing.

Has any of the manufacturers approached him yet? I haven't heard anyone ask that question publicly. They seem to have covered sponsorship as part of the package immediately. I guess I expected Ford to try to keep him with 2 open chartered seats at FRM with their new top tier status, SHR purchased charter, and @McDriver leaving the team.

Martin been complaining a lot lately we all heard him. Reminded me of something Dale JR said. I think Tony JR told him stop bashing the pit Crew for stops and the performance of the car. They all hear it keep it to yourself because it doesn't help it hurts the team. Probably not true but JMO coach lost his sons Ty is his #1 now. Hey Grandpa dump that old guy bashing our organization. Ty will be a young owner driver soon ya never know what's gonna happen? Like Austin Dillon he wanted Kyle Busch good choice, future of team over any bad blood. I Also JMO think Austin thought about wouldn't Kyle Busch in the #3 be Awesome? I know sponsors and alot goes with changing #numbers. But Busch in the #3 would have sponsors in bidding war. Put former fans and haters back at the track,and in front of the tv. Merchandise sales ..if up to me Rowdy would drive #3
