Prime has been there for a year and change. He wasn’t really able to recruit his first year bc he didn’t get there until late December! A day or two before signing day. Do you not do research or look at anything? They’re recruiting a lot of hs kids for them. At least 20 this year has been offered scholarships. They don’t want kids on the roster just to sit on the roster. Either you’re playing or you’re going to play. Complain about flipping 100 kids in 2 years, but the 1-11 team wouldn’t have been competitive last year.

I can understand a heavy HS focus in prior years but in the transfer era, why put in all that work, money, development to a kid only to have him possibly leave anytime throughout the year and beyond. It’s not like the old days where 5 stars redshirt, ride the bench 2-3 years then step in as a junior or senior to then dominate. He grabs a couple high end kids from high school he believes can play early and or are invested for the long haul, then fills the gaps with guys already college tested. Let schools pay millions for 5 stars out of high school to then leave in year 1 or 2 and transfer to Deion when they wanna get serious with play for NFL type exposure and opportunities. I think you’re nuts when you think his first 2 years he should build from High School recruiting. Is the same as saying I’m going to build my NFL team with all college players because they can grow into Pros on their own because professional experience is overrated!! You have to have players with college football experience to help the High School players become college players so you pick experience college players that have that fit your system and that will take a few years then build from High School. Those players are young and it might be their first time away from home so they can’t teach themselves. He cleaned house with the 1 and 11 team because the standard is the standard and they were doing enough not to get cut and not dominate their positions!!
