He might. It depends on many factors like his will to play and prep and train, his hunger to win as well as if he can be put in that position, his health and probably his level of play. Also, last but not least, Malkin and Letang aren't aging as well as Crosby and Crosby has stated numerous times he'd like to finish his career with them. Letang is signed through his age 40 season though and Malkin may take a bit less to play til 41 with them. I think Crosby re-signs after his current deal through his age 40 season and they all retire together (or Malkin will go to the KHL).

Letang didn't look too bad when I saw the Pens play!! His stat line isn't impressing... but only because he's not on the 1st PP anymore!! Sullivan's gotta load up the 1st unit with Karlson & Letang cuz their PP is atrocious right now!!

Sid will be really good at 40 he might pull a lidstrom and retire at 40 or 42 just cus he doesn’t want to play at 2nd liner level. But i think even at 40 he will be a point per game guy.
