Will DIRAC on a computer fix your BASS best?

Dirac is really good. Especially with coaxial style speakers like kef. The lastest version of bass control is amazing. It’s has always been good but the level of performance I get with 4 subs is pretty wild. Results were confirmed via rew

Benefit of high sample rate is low latency. I use my RME interface at 192khz with a 9.8.6 dirac suite config.

Love the channel but can the camera please be stabilized? The past few videos I’ve noticed some type of shaking or zoom on all of my devices.

I've had more wonky results from Dirac Bass Control than standard Dirac. However, you don't need to take new measurements when this happens. You can tweak the crossover point by 1 hz or adjust a target curve point up/down a fraction of a dB. This triggers a new calculation. This approach got me a much better result with Bass Control than Full Range but with much more effort.

Interesting point about sending result to AVR perhaps changing the result. Whenever the Dirac software has a good looking result, it's 50/50 whether it will be good after transferring to Denon or completely wonky in FR.

I found most of my DIRAC issues are related to my laptop or USB and not the application itself…. Looking to try DLBC soon since my old laptop works well with DIRAC.

Mostly the implementation of dirac on receiver brands tends to be different. E. G. Stormaudio has 3 x the taps compared to other receivers. I have found storm to be really good and arcam although arcam ui can be buggy, the implementation is good.

I found MSO first then dirac gave me completely flat bass. Dirac on my denons is MILES ahead of audussey. Audy is just crap. Also dirac fixes tactile transducer delays so my hovereze feels tighter

I did MSO + Dirac for my home office (minidsp flex). Takes quite a bit of tuning with the constraints in MSO for it to not converge on a suboptimal path.

If I have a pc with 16 channel digital out card and connect that to my digital amp then I don't need a receiver?

Ah OK it's limited to bass control there is no bass management option for multiple subs. So you have Max 9.1.6 but no situation with more then 1 sub I think.
