The first project of MGK after the battle was "Binge", which was absolutely terrible, a mumble rap trash project. Em even called him out in it on Killshot before he even dropped the project "had enough of this tatted up mumble rapper". So, Eminem clearly had an affect on MGK, he destroyed him. And Not Alike was already galaxys above Rap Devil, it was already decided before MGK even dropped. MGK talked about Eminems daughter when she was a minor and said she was hot and what not. So, Eminem should never let go and will never let go. He said in the Sway interview " .. because now you're a fucking enemy!" And when you become Ems enemy, especially by talking about Hailie, you stay Ems enemy.

It's on MGK that things have been tense again! Em low-key got MGK and G-Eazy in a room with him while they were all at a convention in Vegas to make sure that they weren't really into bull ish breaking up a friendship on the back of beef when before that it'd been fine. He put that line about how "the lord forgives" that could've been a lifeline. It used to work kind of to say MGK didn't really lose because he was already on to something else, but both Hotel Diablo and his recent attempt to return to rap got zero traction because he's just not taken as seriously in the rap space. The only way to keep building in rap was through a bit more humility and acceptance of peace, because otherwise Em nailed it by just laying out there that he'd had THREE absolute MONSTERS come out by the time he was MGK's age and that his engagement with the rap craft went deeper and higher moving on from there. Relapse was a masterclass of its own, too! Actually one of the best breakdowns I've seen of their performance came from the comedian Godfrey, who talked about hearing the songs in a different order and coming out of it wondering why MGK thought he could really get somewhere with a full-on diss track when BEFORE that Em had already gone in rapping in MGK's style at his best and then topping HIMSELF switching up flow patterns again. So, when he came back after "Rap Devil" and said very plainly to MGK, "This is it; this is your moment," at the peak from which he'd be sliding down lower and lower from there is true as far as rap goes. I don't think his rock career will have a lot of staying power, but it'll go bigger than rap. He should've taken the lifeline of Em being a lord who forgives, because there wasn't enough of a crowd that'd fck with MGK and NOT Em! MGK needs that fanbase that now will turn to EZ Mil, Baby Tron, and other rappers he puts on. It's a shame, as I think a lot of what happened is down to Diddy. I also think MGK was probably gotten by Diddy and has that swimming through how he'll process his career. He blew it, suffice it to say!

I think the issue with hiphop and why it's not selling as much worldwide is the language barrier. Beef with MGK is the same with ja rule case they become personal if u insult eminem daughter or family. Different with 50 and fat joe beef.. its not personal and they keep respect each other so the beef can get peace. MGK dont have respect almost like benzino and ja rule.

Live rap shows,in general , suck. Anyone who has been to a few will tell you it’s hit and miss.

There is absolutely no way, in any parallel universe, where an objective analysis of both diss tracks results in MGK winning. Eminem destroyed him. Indeed, he "had to give him a career to destroy it." 💯

"had to give him a career to destroy it" He didn't destroy anything though. MGK's rap album after the beef Hotel Diablo went gold. His 2 pop-punk albums went gold or platinum. One of his old rap albums has gone from gold to platinum since the beef. MGK has only gotten bigger since the beef.

A album about forgiveness, coexist& anti war seems good to me, maybe a celebration of em grandchildren? Sadly i dont think its happening, at the end of the day hip hop artists need to be hard gangster so others will respect them.

The beef is finished but cant see Em collaborating with him, he does't have too and tbh i don't need that in my life. Maybe the young punk fans do. A simple hand shake will do it for effect if ONLY he apologised for Haily.
