I love watching your videos and you're funny comments are hysterical. I loved the one about the mascara not showing up on camera, then why wear mascara, so true!! Nikki La Rose did a video like this and used the La Prairie foundation. It’s soooo expensive but I used it a long time ago when they had a few and I had a 40% discount and loved it so much! They do have great skincare in their makeup. 👍🏼💖 Their powder is amazing too.

It truly is so expensive here but it's the Canadian dollar conversion. The Canadian dollar isn't as strong as the American dollar. When we go to the States to shop, it is still the same amount of money when we convert it to Canadian dollars so I never really understood why people do that. All I can think of is because sometimes we have to pay high import duties when we order certain things from the US. However, when you factor in the drive and the hotel stay...you're paying more in the end. 🤷‍♀ Maybe I am missing something. I am yet to understand it.

What's funny to me is my Ulta employee steered my towards Clinique which is fine because I already loved their products. My friend however was steered towards Chanel. Both are pricey though hers definitely more so. We compared experiences later and had a good laugh! She says it's absolutely beautiful but she still can't get over how much she spent on foundation. In Switzerland the CdP Foundation in the jar is 325 whereas La Prairie comes with an additional concealer at 285. I think the LP is fabulous compared to CdP.

So much to say… N0! 😂 I can see myself getting groceries and think of how much food I can get with just the foundation alone. For all that were offended by the video…relax it was for a good laugh. Better your wallet than mine Gabbi!😂 The only thing I don’t get was how crazy young those girls were in the videos! When I was in my 20s I would save up money from my part time job after school and splurge on MAC spice lip liner and lip glass. I think that’s the part I really can’t relate ❤😂

1. No, but I've been eyeing it anyway because of that packaging. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 2. Absolutely not. Being a dry girl, I love a dewy foundation, but that one just looked like bacon grease. 3. No. There are better out there now. I like the Makeup by Mario SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer & Fenty. 4. No. It actually looks kind of cheap, and the powder didn't seem to work that well. 5. No. It was pretty, but anyone can make a pretty lip these days. 6. No. Urban Decay had one of these, years ago, not sure if they still do. The problem I had with it was, I would run out of one side long before the other. 7. Oh, god, no. The Gucci eye palettes were even better than these, and that's saying something. 8. No. I'm sure it's good, but eyeliner isn't something you pay Tom Ford prices for. His color cosmetics are more special. 9. No, although, I have been tempted. Powder blush is so easy to get right, there's no need to spend a lot. But, don't tell my Gucci & Dior. 🤦🏻‍♀️ 10. No, Lancome all the way. Whatever your lash needs, go to Lancome. 11. Absolutely. From the packaging to the finish to the texture to the shades, Gucci knows lips. But, the scent has got to go. 12. Yes. Beautiful shades, and not toooo expensive for the amount of product.

Unless that stuff makes me look ten years younger... 3. Chanel Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream - YES. There's a lot of product there and it's uniquely beautiful. 4. Valentino Go Clutch Refillable Setting Powder - NO. Absolutely No. Especially for my oily skin, NO. 5. Valentino minirosso striking matte lip color - YES, but only because I'm a total sucker for a fantastic lip color + formula. 6. Valentino Brow Trio - NO. It's cool, but brow products don't last all that long so I'd rather just buy drugstore. 7. Christian Louboutin Abracadabra La Palette - NO, because even though it's beautiful, it's still just plastic with rhinestones. 8. Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen - NO. My hood extends below the outer corner of my eye, so wings don't work on me. 9. Armani Luminous Silk Glow Blush - NO. Blush is so inexpensive to make, and the drugstore has beautiful, affordable ones to choose from. 10. Hermes Revitalizing Care Mascara - NO. There are so many more affordable mascaras out there to choose from. (Try Clio Kill Lash on Amazon if you need one to hold your curl.) 11. Gucci Rouge à Lèvres Voile Sheer Lipstick - NO. As pretty as it is, that's just too much for a sheer lipstick. 12. Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi Glow Stick - NO. I'd rarely if ever use it. You look fabulous though! But you always look fabulous.

Luckily for me, I have sensitive skin, so the heavy fragrance turns me off of most expensive products. It isn't easy though because I have had to throw out so much makeup over the years finding those I could use. Every time they discontinue a product I use, it takes time to find a new one, so I have to stock up on what I can use, just in case. Loved the lipstick most on you! ❤ Thanks, this was a fun video.

The balm, absolutely NO, the foundation No, No, No, the powder again NO. The eyebrow pencil/pen, surprisingly YES as I just spent $34CD on the Anastasia of Beverly Hills brow Wiz thin pencil. The eyeliner NO and the blush NO. The highlighter NO. The lipstick and gloss NO. Love the finished look though! I recently saw Nikki La Rose reviewing some of these products.

The Valentino lipstick is incredible and worth $42. I love the brow pencil, gorgeous and worth it. I'm in for the blush & highlighter...gorgeous. The Vaseline-like gunk you put on first is a strong no.

1-12 HELL NO LOL Even when I worked for prestige make-up lines I never payed those prices with the discounts. You definitely get a luxe feel with them though. Chanel is one brand I might pay for because the quality, pigment load, feel and finish is always so great and they last forever. I still have some Chanel products from a long time ago that I use, and I have never found dupes for them that I liked.

@@danielaoliveira541 the ones that are absolutely worth it for me that I’ve used a lot after I filmed are the Valentino Brow Pencil/Pen, the liquid pen by Tom Ford and the Gucci lipstick. The Gucci lipstick is just SO BEAUTIFUL and natural looking. I wear it everyday even if I have hardly any makeup on because I love a flush of red. Is it overpriced for the formula? Yes absolutely. But I am okay to pay for a beautiful package that I keep in my purse. It feels super special to me and sometimes that is just what makeup needs to be.

I own this and love it; 4 no way; 5 no; girl maths lol! 6 yes !; Christian la boutin also does stunning foundation; but I also love my Zeesea pallet which is aud $17; 7 no; 8 I love these blushes and think the formula is stunning it might be small but you need so little I use shade 50 too!; 9 no but the Hermes bronzer is worth it!!!; 10 yes. I love gucci's lip products, they are divine; I love taking it out of my bag during the day to reapply and feel fabulous; 11 yes all chanel makeup is generally amazing; Loved this video and have loads more luxe suggestions for the next one!!! 😆😅😊 xx

That Gucci balm though… I’ve been taking the tiniest amount of Vaseline and putting it under my eyes for years so the price on that thing is bananas! Just so you know since it's impossible to get a grip on intent or implied attitude and sense of humor what I am going to share is meant to ma(e you laugh even though ittrue. My husband is a true life hillbilly without the beard. I am a 100% certified cajun from the swamps of Louisiana. When we met more than 30 years ago I had a saying that was my Dad's before me. It went like this " before you buy that, you better be sure you will look great in it dead." My husband would say that to me if he thought I was seriously considering any one of these. I most likely have a Cheshire grin on my face. Although I'm new to your channel, Gabi, I really love it as well as you. You are so beautiful both inside and out.
