For someone born in ‘73 with a team of researchers and writers, I’m very surprised Seth got the name of Welcome back, Kotter, wrong. I was born in ‘76 and I vividly remember watching John Travolta on Welcome back, Kotter. I mean, it was no WKRP in Cincinnati, but it was still a really funny show.

The term "fore" in golf is a Scottish interjection used to warn others of an oncoming golf ball. It's a courteous and safe way for golfers to communicate on the course and is considered an essential part of golf etiquette.

It's a Scottish term due to the fact that Scots invented golf a really long time ago and the game hasn't died out yet. The origin is unclear but it could be a shortened version of fore-caddie (giving your caddie a heads up your ball is on its way) or it could be a variation of the Gaelic cry Faugh A Ballagh! I was sad when there wasn't any claps for Gabe Kaplan or his show. He did so much in the middle and end of the 70s for the world. He made us laugh. Kids thru out America imitated the characters in that show. It brought John Trovalta into our homes. Horshack's laugh was copied by kids all over America. Thank you, Gabe Kaplan, for creating the "Sweat Hogs" and making us laugh. ❤

Second chance theatre was fun as crap .. and seriously that show had one of the better songs on tv at the time .. as I watched tonight I slowly went back to 1975 and staying up late to watch SNL when my parents were gone or over at a friends house who’s parents didn’t care .. can’t believe it didn’t make the cut 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣it’s absolutely as good as any we watched then lol 😂
