I can't believe that there's talk of Southgate still sticking with virtually the same 11 players who've already brought us three of the dreariest matches in the whole tournament. The other guys sitting on the subs bench must be wondering why he bothered to take them in the first place. We certainly need a few goal scorers on the field in any case, so lets hope he brings on the likes of Watkins, Eze, Palmer, Gordon, Bowen and Ivan Toney in case there are any penalties!

Southgate makes england playcounter attack direct football with drop back holding back inviting pressure football This is tactic of underdog football to defend to win, this is good for teams who aren't defensively confident and sound so they drop their attack to focus on defending to win England can't progress if we play this park the bus kind of football this doesn't work when we play against stronger sides as when we invite more pressure by not pressing they will overload and score and since we nullify our attack we can't come back We need to high press why do you think we have so many attacking players in the squad They are meant to be rotated we are meant to make the pressure and focus on scoring goals rather than think of not conceding as southgate does because southgate tactic fails the moment we concede which is inevitable Football is the attack and defense if you don't score goals you can't win just as much as having bad defense
