Some positives I've noticed: -amazing confidence and something you need out of your QB -natural passer and football player, seems like his IQ is high -good anticipation, reads the field well Some negatives I noticed: -not the most athletic guy but athletic enough -arm is not great but still has confidence in it, could be good or bad thing -needs polishing, slightly worrisome at age 23 Overall, I like him I think its a toss up between him and Haskins for #1 it really depends on what system you run and how you want to use each player. Similar to Haskins I think his talent is a mid to late first rounder but will go earlier do to positional need. His upside seems a bit higher than Haskins to me but he's 2 years older so he'll be a 27/28 year old coming off his rookie contract which is always interesting

OK. Of what I have seen so far of this year's college class of Quarterbacks, there are only, in my opinion, two that are ready for the NFL. Dwayne Hawkins and this young man. Will Grier is nice. As a New York Giants fan, I would love to get Will Grier if he is available. I love Eli Manning,but, he is done. The Giants need to draft their next franchise QB. I believe that Will Grier can be that guy. Can't wait for the 2019 NFL draft.
@Brandon-rq3ys5 жыл бұрын
Eli Manning is just too damn stubborn and selfish to admit he's done and just retire. I say selfish because it is selfish. It's selfish to his team and their fans. Giants have a great team with arguably the best RB in the league and OBJ and Engram. If Kyle Lauletta was given a chance to adjust and be more comfortable this year then they probably qould have won a few. He's a solid QB and scary accurate. You should know that. Personally, I dont even think the Giants need to draft another QB. At least stick with Lauletta for 1 year and see how he adjusts. If he blows then replace him next year. This year what they need to work on is that defense and OLine. Once they do that they will have an almost perfect team. And if Lauletta fails then at least thats all they will desperately need in the 2020 draft. Which they can trade up for easily. After that it's post season after post season for the Giants.
@christopherphillips80275 жыл бұрын
@@Brandon-rq3ys dear Alpha.. Christopher here replying back to you. If you are a true Giants fan, then you can't believe what you just posted. Are you willing to watch another year where the Giants miss the playoffs? The Giants have played in only one playoff game since they last won the Superbowl in 2012. Kyle Lauretta had his chance and blew it. Obviously, he is not the one. I love Eli Manning. He is a class act. But, his time is over. I don't think that he is selfish. He wants to play and still thinks he can compete. I am not mad at him for that. But, the Giants in this draft have to get a Quarterback . It is time to move on from Eli Manning. Whether the one to replace Eli Manning is Dwayne Haskins, Kyler Murray (who personally I believe should have stayed with baseball), Will Grier, or Drew Lock, remains to be seen. I do not want to see another losing season with my Giants.

tbh he doesn't really look that impressive. He's a little under sized, his mechanics are unusual but more importantly in almost every one of these highlights he throws to his first option. I don't expect him to be NFL ready but as a 4 year college player he should be able to read defenses better than this. Work through his progressions instead of snap and fire. Rumors are circulating the Pats may go for him and if they do I hope he proves me wrong
@brettterry96435 жыл бұрын
Undersized? He's 6'2 and almost 220 pounds? And the scheme he ran in WV is designed that way. Watch him at Florida and the highlights here where his first option isnt open and he reads his progressions and if that isnt open he makes plays with his legs. But okay
@TheStereoField5 жыл бұрын

I agree. He has no arm talent. Got caught using PEDs. And worst of all he has no really impressive throws, his receivers are always wide open. Kurt Warner summed it up best when he explained the difference between an NFL QB and College QB. "Anybody can hit a guy wide open by five yards but can they hit a timed window with 12 inches to work with the receiver in stride"
@Kdottt585 жыл бұрын
Joseph Moore bruv you don’t know the situation. You hear PED and think he was roiding lol. It was an over the counter drug that he didn’t know was banned. And I watched every game at WVU, he makes big time throws. You can’t watch a 4 minute highlight tape and fully analyze a guy
