Buys time, good fakes, good arm, executes RPO. Now that he is with Seattle, I could see him returning to form from his rookie year in NFL. Waldron's offense with lots of motion and fakes could help him out and give him multiple targets at different levels. The big thing with Seahawks is they hate turnovers, so better if he tucks and runs than throw an INT and get benched.

Remember who Josh Allen played well against at Wyoming. It was vs the worst teams on their schedule, and he was horrible when he played ranked teams. Now, he didn't have a very good passing season, but he did start to look better towards the end of the season. His running ability is what blew me away. This kid might be just as athletic and is 6'4. He might be raw, but if a good QB coach works with him, he has the rare arm strength like Josh Allen, that it's worth a shot. He'll probably do a lot of running at first until he gets better at reading defenses and the NFL game slows down for him.

After playing as a flanker and tailback for a few years i moved to the QB position and learned a ton and judging by some of the comments here, i think a lot of you only watch football lol. I see plenty of good here... He isnt Haskins or Murray but his draft stock makes enough sense. He just needs to be polished up but he has talent lol. Some of you need to drop the habit of visualizing (in this case a qb) a QB who just looks perfect and fits your own criteria, get over yourself. Analyze it the right way. If you're confused about his draft stock, then just move on. Go check out a different position lol.

@raymondwhitejr43395 жыл бұрын
@No Comps there are at least 5 different examples. and I had them all typed out... then I accidentally switched pages... I'm not saying I dont like this kid, in fact, on the contrary, I hope my team drafts him. ill go through this again, just for you though. starting with 0:46 the receiver had to slow down to catch the ball. 0:56 the receiver had actually turned back to him on the Go Route. 1:26 again, the receiver had to slow down in order to secure a ball that the DB very nearly got. 3:20 again, receiver was waiting for the ball. 3:38 again, receiver has to slow down to catch the ball. 4:10 where the receiver is turned towards the qb although this is a bit more acceptable since the qb is out of the pocket. and finally, 5:06 the receiver has to come back for it instead of being able to run free.

Yes his Oline is very good. Welcome to the world of evaluating college QBs tons of tape you watch on college QBs are like that. Take a look at Russell Wilsons college tape. There are a few throws here specifically against florida where Drew shows good composure in the pocket, standing tall. His eyes are always down field even in the rare cases a blitzer gets through blockers (try and scout for this trait this upcoming season you will see its a big difference between saturday hero and potential NFL star. My favorite part of college is the mediocre QB play, you will find that 75% of college QBs will drop their head under pressure and no longer have eyes down field.) . He shows great ability to throw on the run and from unstable platforms like from his backfoot.
