My mom was a runner and she would do marathons and everything. She fell and broke her pelvis really bad and was out of running for 18 months. She can run now and is happy and healthy. I can tell that josh has been down lately and I know that no one is going to even see this but I just need him to know that he is literally one of the strongest people I’ve ever met. He literally is putting pressure on a broke ankle to do everyday task and he is so strong for even doing this. You and Katie are very strong and just know that everything is going to be okay it may take a while but everything’s going to get better. We love you so much josh and especially Katie. I would say this, “Are you marrying Josh because he can walk, or are you marrying him because you love him?” Your wedding will definitely be a day you remember the rest of your life so imagine telling your kids all about why their dad is wearing casts/in a wheelchair/etc... because he’s a freaking beast who broke both his ankles weeks before the wedding and still showed up to do his thing. It sucks, but this is the story y’all will be able to tell for many years. I say go on and make the best of it. You will have the rest of your lives together to use those legs!

My opinion to the first look as an actual wedding photographer - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to ALL MY couples and here’s why. - the first look is so much more intimate and personal, it’s just you guys and a photographer , you’re able to better soak in the moment and allow your emotions to flow. The lighting and locations of this are usually magical in the morning, and we have time to set up the perfect shot before the groom turns around where as during the ceremony we can’t. and you guys have at least 10+ full minutes if not more to do the first look and just grab the first photos of you guys all giddy and just holding each other on the day y’all have waited for so long. - with doing a first look down the aisle - usually EVEN IF the guy is a crier, with the pressure of EVERYONE checking to see if he’s crying, he’s not only watching you walk down he’s usually subconsciously wondering if he’s standing in the right spot, if everyone’s expecting him to cry, and feels pressure regardless of how he acknowledges it or not and as a result, I’ve seen criers NOT CRY. And not just for the emotional part of it, but walking down the aisle is usually only maybe 20 seconds. Even with a second shooter this may only result in 15-30 good & different photos to give you guys as a return on your gallery from this moment, oppose to the potential of closer to a hundred or more photos in return for an intimate first look because that takes 10-20 minutes to grab shots. I personally didn’t do a first look and highly regret it. So I always weigh in on both sides and why I personally recommend it. Please like this so they can consider this opinion !

I have never commented on a KZbin video in my life, but I connected to this so much that I felt the need to write something! I think you guys are exactly where you’re supposed to be. Everything happens for a reason and we’re put on this earth for each other. I think this experience will make you even closer than you already are as a couple. This is just part of your journey together. A real journey will always have unexpected moments and twists and turns. It builds character and opens up an opportunity to have a new experience, even if it’s a challenge. I broke my ankle years ago and had surgery to have a plate and screws put in. It was a hard recovery and there was a lot of sadness from not being mobile and having everyone have to do everything for you. Quick shower tip, get a shower chair that’s made for the elderly. You’ll be able to sit up and if the chair is tall enough you can keep your casts out of the water by swinging them over the tub and you can put another chair there to keep them elevated even when you’re showering! I did this and then had someone help me shower so it was easier for them to help me if I was sitting! Last note, you should do the first look before the wedding because it makes the special moment more of a private moment. Also because you can then take all your family and bridal party pics together before the wedding starts too so then you don’t have to miss out on any part of the wedding to go take all your pictures!! That’s what we did at our wedding and it was nice to get all those pics out of the way so you can enjoy the rest of the wedding. Keep pushing forward guys! Thanks for being real. Everyone can relate and connect in some way to people who are real and if anything, it makes all of us feel closer to you guys too! Love you Jatie!❤️❤️❤️

this video made me cry!! i can relate so much! i broke my tibia and my fibula last year because i was practicing to ski so i can finally go to a real snowy mountain and make one of my dreams come true. ( it was my first time to ski when i had my lessons as i really wanted to ski in a mountain because in my country, we do not have snow all year around so i thought this would be a dream come true!) I already had my skiing lessons and i have done them all, so i ski every month until my holiday is near so I have practised fully and feel more confident, but when I was in the slope, only less than 30 minutes i had a very bad fall and i knew i broke my bones so bad as it was so painful that i kept quiet for 2 seconds because i was in shock and literally felt my leg twisted i swear! it was literally the most painful thing that ever happened in my life and its such a hard time! it took me 3 months before i was able to walk. i was literally bed ridden for months, 24/7. you are a positive person and that will help you get through this! it took me longer as my accident made me so upset and so depressed but thanks to the people around me who was taking care of me, they made my situation so much better. You can do this Josh! just need a lot of rest so your bones will heal faster and just be positive like you always are !!

2 broken ankles . & you think it's only going to take 1 man to hold him up . he can't even walk on his own . there's wheel chairs , crutches , etc. he will have to use something like that in the wedding bc he will not be fully healed in time . it doesn't take 9 weeks to fully heal TWO broken ankles . not to mention he broke a bone in which it's rare to break. therefore , his situation is very severe & it will take a lot of time to heal .

Josh is my 9 year old son's idol! He wants to do everything that Josh does! I think that Josh living his best life is just what they need to be shown! Accidents happened like you said and it's out of anyone's control. But living most your days laughing and enjoying your life out ways the hard days!
