Unless there's any hybrid involved (when you might say 550+ occasional hybrid assistance), but looking at specs at least the 765LT itself doesn't have hybrid. It is apparently lighter and shorter-geared than the 720, to improve response. Bentley can make their Continental barge go as fast (or faster) at the top end with seemingly less power, so I wonder who is (not) being modest with their figures?

Even though the MP4 and 5xx series cars had some longevity issues, those engines with a propensity to go from opera composer to machine gun masochist is a defining characteristic I will never tire of. Stab the throttle and watch the world transform into watercolors blurring over the windscreen while the engine responds in kind, total savagery.

Poetic ).. Rented a 570S tuned to 800hp a couple of years back and there is absolutely nothing that has the same 100-200 km/h acceleration (and beyond) in its league. I will never forget that feeling. A day before drove a Vantage and in comparison it seemed like a go kart, no offense to AM fans.

I've always had a curiosity: with such powerful cars (especially RWD), when you accelerate full throttle on a straight line, how easy is it to skid or lose control with all the controls active? Or is it easy to hold?

Well, I can tell you about a drive I had some years ago in a 488 Spider if it can help you about your question. First of all I had almost no experience with this kind of cars, before the 488 I only drove an Huracan but it’s 4wd so no experience with an rwd supercar. I admit that I was scared about the fact the Ferrari was rwd but I have to say that I felt quite safe when I went full throttle, I drove it in Sport mode the whole time but I floored it from 90 kmh more or less, so the risk of spinning tyres was very low. If you never drove an high hp car, the thrust you feel when you floor the throttle can be very scary initially and you need some time to adapt yourself to this feeling, but generally these kind of cars gives you a lot of confidence because at high speeds they feel very stable. Obviously this is my little experience, hope it helped you to imagine what you feel when you floor a supercar

It depends. Stock sport cars and supercars usually pretty easy to hold with all controls active, but high tuned old cars (supra, gtr and more) is really hard to handle because they dont have much controls and well, theyre not designed for 1000 hp

I've heard that the 720s for example doesn't fully disable the TC/ESC. It's always on to some degree, you still can lose the car of course. Which also helps is the boost by gear obviously which Mclaren almost perfectioned. So I would guess the 765 would be the same for sure with more HP

They are usually made to be as user friendly as possible, i havent driven any fast rwd cars but i have driven a e63s and i gotta tell you its so stable. You can floor it around a corner and it just takes it.

I was just looking at the speed this McLaren is still accelerating from 225 KPH 140 MPH what is the rough top speed I’ve took my MK3 Focus ST. But crazy to the the new family MG Xpower MPV could keep up with this maybe to around 100 MPH what is only. Electric cars are only scratching the surface and won’t be long unless regulations are out in place before 300 MPH becomes a standard in electric hyper cars !!!

It’s stupid of course you are faster when you have more hp but I think the turbo S is still faster and has better braking, better dynamic capabilities, better luxuries for daily driving and better feeling because it’s sportier than an M3 ( don’t get me wrong the M3 G80 is incredible )

Watching this video pisses me off on so many levels. First, I live in the land of the free and cannot go over 55, 65, or 75 miles per hour without going to jail or paying an expensive fine. Second, nothing but jackasses on our roads driving slow on the left and right lane holding up traffic not allowing people to pass. These people do it on purpose or they think they own the road, or better yet. They are the only ones on the road. Not to mention I see at least a dozen people staring at their phones while driving. Third, potholes, road construction CONSTANTLY, sheeze They have been widening one of our main highways for 10 years now and they are only adding a single f'ing lane! I digress.
