I agree with you. I already hate the fact that all the online cars are not in story mode. You can only spawn them in with mod menus. They also banned my modded account when all I did was play invite only and check out all the cars. I will not be getting GTA 6 at all. Why lock cars to online only?....it could easily be in story mode under franklin or something

We've been waiting for HSW on PC for over a year now. If we got it now, I'd have to start farming money again. Because there are a ton of cars in my collection that can have HSW upgrades, and who am I not to upgrade them? Especially since the difference in their performance is so big.

Sell us a game, while not clearly informing consumers that the games will be different from console to console? I’m calling bullshit. There are pc mod menus that modify cars speeds to insane speeds and the game handles the speeds just fine. Some cars with these menus go 1000 mph in online. Edit: I wish I was joking. Cars with mod menus have infinite acceleration and top speed.

yeah this is the only thing that pisses me off is not having away to make my cars faster but a console can. i get 160 fps at 4k maxed settings on pc that's not worth giving up for hsw on console but man i do want my cars to be faster console has had it 2 years but we still don't have it in 2024. Dont forget, PC modding scene are running rampant, R* think that probably not many people gonna be buying shark card for hsw on pc, and maybe its how it is currently Or could be technical reason behind that as well, if you're driving so fast, the map chunk load faster, and unlike console, PC ssd arent standarized from the factory. some have slow ass HDD, while others fast SSD, if HSW implemented and these 2 end of the spectrum meet in the same HSW vehicle being driven by the fast SSD player, the slow HDD player will experience tons of lag spikes, and from these lagspikes can introduce freezing, and what happen if your game freezes for more than 5 seconds? yep, you're thrown into a solo session, now imagine this scenario in a heist.

SSDs even the slowest one won't be a big difference the slowest SSD is a 3.5 SSD with 500mbs speed and the fastest SSD which is an NVME that has a speed of 14Gbs which is faster then console, and guess what's the difference in gaming, ZERO nothing is different from a slow SSD and a Fast SSD, so it isn't a Hardware issue, even a HDD won't have a problem, the most likely case is the Modding scene and not a lot of profit.

if ur using an hdd u have 80-160 MBs, which will make your game stop for a couple of seconds to load the map as you are going fast as hell. as evelyngrace8917 said, you will get kicked into a solo session. I had it on an external hdd to play it also on a MacBook and it crashed me in a solo session all the time, I then switched to a crucial ssd with 500MBs on usb and now it works perfectly.@@f5m227

Only Xbox X/s and PS5... the Xbox-1 and Ps4 etc were not given update either... difference there is you can buy a new console and migrate gta account... There is no path for Pc users to upgrade as we dont have 'GENS' .. They could set mimimum requirements if they needed to limit older pc's. I would not even mind a $10 E & E upgrade fee like they charged the console players on initial rollout.

This game is possibly the worst PC port I've ever played. Given how much money this company has made and the number of issues it has, plus this, I'm skeptical about GTA 6 being any different. You're sadly correct about rockstar being incentivised to keep HSW console only as long as possible. PCs are much more powerful yet they claim they're old-gen, somehow an rx 6700 packaged in a white box with a somewhat fast ssd is the only system allowed to be called "new-gen"... HSW time trials are by far the best way to make money in the game if you only play a little - they're easier, shorter and pay 2.5x the normal money... 250K for a few minutes of work is insane not to mention new players on next gen start with 4 mil. dollars like that's also a limitation lol... I kinda stopped playing the game after realizing how corrupt it was...
