In this video I drag equipment down to the property to put in some food plots.

Looks like most of our weekends prepping. My perspective is that you are making memories. Good times for sure.

Yeah I was at my place is southern Ohio last weekend planting and mowing as well. Hill country adds a whole another element of difficulty getting things done. We gave up on the culitpacker years ago, we use a drag and have the same success. It’s just hard to get everything up the hill to access some places. Good luck and keep putting out these great videos!

Yeah, I agree...it took half the day getting everything up the hill.....ill leave the cultipacker home next time. Thanks for watching and good luck this season!

Glad to see you back posting videos for us all to watch. It may have taken a little longer doing the one trip but just wondering if it worked out to the same amount of time if you had to do two trips instead of one? Food plots are certainly greening up and looking good. Can't wait to see the trail cam pics and videos. You should tease us every video with a couple snippets... LOL/ What is a cultipacker and what does it do? Could you leave that step out of the process? Hurry up with part 2 will ya !!!!!! 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂 See you on the next video.

Good to hear from you! It probably would have been better to make 2 trips...live and learn I guess! Plots are coming together and pictures will be on the next videos.

One thing I don't understand why don't you invest in a bush hog for your tractor instead of using your mower. It would save alot mor time.

Good question. I've thought about it...but I'd have to get the tractor up the hill with the bush hog.....mow.....then come back down to hook the tiller up. Back up the hill to till. I got the riding mower free...fixed it...and I just leave them up on the hill...so when I only need to mow trails...I can drive my car down to the property...walk up the hill and jump on the riding mower...if I used a bush hog I'd have to trailer down the tractor everytime I want to mow...being a 4 hour round trip...I save a ton just driving the car

@@HuntYourWay but it takes all that time to get your mower up the hill and you have to have someone with you to pull your mower up the hill. Or maybe you should get a bigger mower with better tires on them or some chains on your tires.

@kevinmason3086 that was a new(to me) mower I just took down there that weekend. I left it up on the hill...it will stay there for years to come...it will only come back down when it's junk and no longer usable.

@@HuntYourWay need to put it on a skid or something keep it off the ground. As far as the tires I put green slime in all my lawn mower tires then run them for about 15-20 minutes and then they won't loose air anymore.
