Look to play ‘boring’ golf, take the risk out of shots and look to play a hole a shot over par. So look at a par 3 as a par 4 for example. Be happy to take 3 shots to get on the green on a par 4 and then 2 put instead of trying to hole from 20/30 yards. Bogey golf gets you 90 instead of chasing par/birdies every hole, chances for them will come 👍

Try only using 3 wood forget the driver and if you’ve got 180 or more on your second shot take enough club to leave yourself 100 yards in.

@shaunellis1082 It’s actually great advice. I stopped using driver a while ago and opted for a 5 wood. Been cracking shots 260 straight down the fairway and have been playing the best rounds of my life while developing a driver swing. It’s killing two birds with one stone.

I know you said you want to putt based off feel but I don’t think you have the feel just yet. Line that ball up man, and when you start knocking those down then go to the feel method. You lose a lot of strokes on short putts

100% only problem I have found is when I line it up I question the line too much

@@jordanwilliamsgolf it'll completely change your mindset about how to attack each hole. Golf courses are designed to give us trouble, so play to safety _every chance you get._ Plan for best & worst strikes, be pleased with anything in between. If a perfect shot is the only one that works, step back and re-evaluate.
