I've had 2 street Glide specials and they are great bikes. I got the fever for a Road Glide so I got one. I love it!

My first Harley was a road king. Best bike ever. I wanted a fairing and bought a Goldwing. I traded for another Goldwing but went back to a Harley, a road glide. Just like my beloved road king with a fairing. Light steering, great ride. Nothing like it.

I had to chuckle when I saw this video. I ran into you the day before at the BBQ road side stand on the road to Sturgis. You were riding the Pan Am. The next day I was in the parking lot in front of Crazy Horse.. saw you riding a RG CVO. I thought.. huh.. thats not a Street Glide or the Pan Am.. finally he's riding RG.. be safe my friend. It was awesome chatting with you.

Great video as always! I will say, I went from a street glide to a road glide because I think the road glide is a slightly smoother ride at highway speeds. The only con I’ve found is I get soaked on the road glide when riding in the rain because the fairing is so much further away (and I’m like you and don’t like looking through a windshield) other than that I love my road glide!

Such a great video. I bought a 2021 Street Glide Special about 2 months ago and then 3 weeks later bought a 2021 Road Glide Special. I just like the way it handles better for me. Both are great. But the Road Glide is it for me. I'm 6'4" about 210 now. Down from 290. So I'm with you on the traveling tall.

great video, brought back some great memories. North America only has Bison (s not z), Buffalo are in Asia, think Water Buffalo. When some people in the US first saw the Bison, they called them American Buffalo not knowing what they really were. That's the reason why some people think there's no difference. They are two completely different animals in build, etc.

Cool vídeo, as usual. Being a tall guy, you should certainly consider moving to a RG. I’m 6.4 and I used to ride an Ultra Limited but now my RG, with 16” KST bars, extended floorboards and the Road Zeppelin is by far the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden. I don’t like to CVO heavy breather because it hits on my right leg.

Hey Tall. Another great video. Glad you enjoyed the Roadglide. You would definitely need a little taller windshield for Hwy riding. Needles and Iron Mountain are two of my favorite rides when I’m out in the Blackhills. You really need to enjoy them at a time other than when the rally is happening. Also, ride the Wildlife Loop in Custer State Park. Almost always will see Buffalo and Pronghorn Dear. Again, when it’s not rally time. They get skedish with all the bikes. I’ve got to come out to Tn and meet up with you for a ride. I couldn’t make the ride you hosted last month.

I love the look of both the SG & RG. The older you get, I think the RG is easier to maneuver but dash is a bit far yet I do prefer having the GPS in the highest position. I now have the Dirt Glide and will look at the touring bikes after I retire in 5 years when I’ll have unlimited time.

I noted your curiosity with the tunnel and Mount Rushmore scene - seeing it better while looking through the narrow tunnel. Its like looking through a pinhole, an eye exam trick. It helps the eye focus, improves "refraction errors" and in the right scenario (formal eye exam) may suggest some difficulty seeing clearly at close distance (myopia). You could use a pinhole, a narrow tube, a small circle you make with your fingers, or in your case a narrow tunnel. It is a simple way to focus light, by temporarily removing the effects of myopia.

hello Mr Tall love your videos. I always liked the looks of the Road Glide. I recently had the opportunity to ride both including the specials and CVOs. I have to say like riding the Street Glide better. The RG fairing just seemed so huge Liked how the SG was more compacted like the gauge layout better. Biggest thing(might have been my imagination) was the handle bars. I know they can be changed but after spending that kind of money I want to get closest to my perfect as possible. I felt the SG was more comfortable where as the Road Glide seemed so close to me and didn't seem to allow me to handle as well in tight slow speed maneuvers. I thought they all ran rough lol. Currently have 2020 Street Bob seems to run smother. but thinking of moving up to something I can put miles on. Love the Dirt Glide too but just not a Harley lol if you know what I mean.
