As a true Dallas native, when it comes to traffic you gotta learn how to maneuver around the back ways. Never take 635 or 75 Central Expressway during peak hours. Back roads are the best way.

Bro i'm out of NY at the end of thus October. I know EXACTLY what you're speaking of. I was in the Navy. Seeing the world has me in a mindset where coming back to where i was born is like taking a step back. Also the mindset i have now is light-years different from where i was when i left. People look at me like i'm the stranger in the BX or BK. Seems like you have your heart set on new things boss and that might be a sign that you need to move to the next step in your life.

Hey, your videos have helped me a lot I recently moved to Dallas from Chicago and it has been hard adjusting here because it’s a lot different than back home but I am going to continue keeping an open mind while I’m here and make the best of it
@rkingfarmer5 жыл бұрын
What's your thoughts on diversity in Dallas? and living compared to Chicago
@feliciaturner56425 жыл бұрын
King Gon my thoughts is that Chicago is more diverse than Dallas overall. The cost of living in Chicago is more expensive than Dallas. Chicago is a urban city so everything is everywhere you don’t have to go far for what you need unless you choose too. Unfortunately, Dallas is not like that. The food is awesome in Chicago as well. Despite what people say Chicago is actually a beautiful city and the media over exaggerates crime that takes place there. Being in Dallas makes me appreciate public transportation in Chicago and the availability to go anywhere you want to go. The downside of Chicago is that there is a lot of taxes that you pay. And you literally pay for any and everything. For example, You could ask for a cup of water and get charged for that in Dallas It’s free from my experience. The pay rate in chicago is relatively higher than Dallas, but it really depends on your career field. But Dallas has a lot more opportunity and jobs. And I must add that you also get more for your money as well.
@rkingfarmer5 жыл бұрын
@@feliciaturner5642 great comparison! Sounds like Chicago is a pretty chill place. Have you ever visited or thought about visiting Houston? I hear it's pretty cool as well.
@feliciaturner56425 жыл бұрын
King Gon Yes, I really like Houston. I think I like Houston more than Dallas. I’m actually trying to figure out if I want to move there or stay in Dallas. Houston has more culture than Dallas in my opinion. They also have so many great restaurants there it kind of remind me of a smaller Chicago just in the south lol. Also, they have a larger medical district and I’m in healthcare so it’s actually even more opportunity there I have noticed than Dallas. Do you like Houston?
@rkingfarmer5 жыл бұрын
@@feliciaturner5642 I keep hearing the rest restraunts are amazing and the culture is much better in Houston. I havent been to Houston but visited dallas for a week. It was pretty cool place! I live in Alabama and it sucks lol. I want to live in either Houston or Dallas but can't decide.
