Hoosier here and you might be right, but I see LSU starting to roll through the SEC and yet they lost to a mediocre USC team. Michigan won it all last year and Ohio State would've beat Georgia if they had a kicker. SEC is brutal though. It might not be pretty if IU had to go to an SEC team for the first round of the playoffs

Lsu currently tied for #1 in the sec lost to USC who currently sits at 16th. The sec isnt nearly as dominant this year as normal.
