Will Iran retaliate against Israel again? | DW News

Iran's state media reported loud explosions in the sky near Isfahan city. Tehran said air defense systems at a nearby military base and nuclear facility were activated.
Two US officials told CBS News that a suspected Israeli missile struck Iran overnight. A spokesman for Iran's space agency said several drones had been intercepted, but claimed that there had been no missile attack. The International Atomic Energy Agency added that no Iranian nuclear facilities were damaged. The Israeli government has not officially commented on the incident.

Because, you know, Hamas is the source of all evil and all the problems in the world right now and since the beginning of time. Iran announce the attack in the open, therefore, confirmed iranian attack Israel hasn't announced anything yet, but it looks exceedingly like them, so suspected Israeli attack, there's nothing wrong with that. They're not trying to make it look like it's not israel.

I think you know is really means the opposite. When there's no direct fighting between Israel and Iran, it means Iran keeps attacking Israel via Hezbollah, Hamas, PIJ, and Ansar Allah, with none of the retaliation harming Iran directly. "De-escalation" is obviously a better deal for Iran than for Israel.

It's actually the other way around. If "de-escalation" means that Israel and Iran don't fight directly, it means that Iran keeps attacking Israel via Hezbollah, Hamas, PIJ, and Ansar Allah, without suffering any retaliations directly on Iran. This is a great deal for Iran; not so great for Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, etc.

Paradigm shift, By destroying the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Israel broke international law and endangered world peace. Iran responded in a very balanced way by using its old drones and missiles to do little damage. If Israel once again celebrates aggression, it will definitely be excluded from the world community. Iran will be a far more attractive partner for the US in the Persian Arab region than Israel. Israel will have to accept this, unless it wants to risk an Iran-Israel war, but that would also mean the end of Israel. A paradigm shift is currently taking place and that is encouraging. But what we need now is the UN's irrevocable recognition of the Palestinian state so that the Palestinian population can live in security, self-determination and freedom
