Using words like 'proxies' as the west is a weakness. As a sunni muslim i admire and endorse tbe Iranians. They have shown courage, resilience and faith. They have shown faith in their own interpretation of the sunnah. We in the sunni world are the opposite. As for Afghanistan back in 1990s it was under Taliban who back then were strictly viewed by Iran as Pro-Wahhabi Anti-Shia government especially when the slaughter of Shias happened in Hazara province when Taliban were fighting there and when Iranian embassy was attacked and its staff also killed. I would like to mention a few more things after what Dr. Anas said: Even prior to Oct 7th the reason why Qassem Suleimani was killed by US strike in Iraq in 2020, he was the main person who strengthened the Axis of Resistance that fights for Palestine today, Iran lost one of its best for Palestine. After Oct 7th, Iran lost several of its IRGC commanders inside Syria, Iraq & Lebanon, especially in Syria, by Israeli air strikes, who were stationed there by Iran to strengthen the Axis that fights Israel today. After their first attack on Israel in April, Iran lost its President & Foreign minister in May (apparently in an air crash) for sake of Palestine. Iran got attacked by Daesh inside the country that killed hundreds of Iranians for supporting Palestine. There is much more to speak here when it comes to credit for Iran.

Love all the howling from Shia Iran supporters unable to face the truth of Iranian misdeeds! 😊 Especially pretending to be Sunnis in comments supporting Iranian ‘resistance’!! 😂 As if Sunnis will forgive Iran and Hezbollahs intervention in the Syrian civil war to prop up the Shia Alawaite dictator Assad. Nobody will forget the mass killings, ethnic cleansing and starvation of Sunni towns in the war. I'm shia, this is how i feel after watching him to the end, feels like he gave up on palastine, he doesn't have fire within him, he does not promote real positive actions, just asking us to pray and observe like him, his interpretation is weird and will lead us all to doom. Basically he bow down to the domination of the west and anyone who fight the projects of the west he called them terrorist and proxies. He is saying sunni rely on funding and relying on free speech given by their rulers. Otherwise, they sit and pray. Palastine proves him wrong, sunni doesn't need that freedom to be able to create a new leadership and resistance. Forget about iran and shia proxies, at least be a good example for sunnis.

But the truth is the truth. You can support Iran against Israel. Whilst also acknowledging the atrocities Iran has committed in Iraq and Syria. ISIS was born from the torture dungeons the US created and the mass killing lead by then Iraqi leader supported by Iran. In Syria it's horrific what Asad and Iran have done.
