I used to follow abhijit iyer mitra sir since 2021 and the moment where he lost my respect was when he started to mock individuals based on the income strata of their followers. He had grown up in upper middle income class surroundings unaffected from the sufferings of common man's life. Even many of my relatives still to the date live in mylapore but unlike him my grandfather served a lion share of life as an indentured labourer in burma due to the protest he organised against the british government in madras. As a result he lost his high paying job in eic . The point that I am trying to make is that judging indivual's capability based on their income strata is grossly and humanely wrong . Many freedom fighters can be made fun on the basis of their income if income is the only aspect in one's life which is extremely wrong for society as a whole.

Abhijit Iyer Mitra is no doubt a brilliant analyst but I must say the host of the show is so well read, so good at communicating his ideas with such grip on geopolitics that it really makes him stand out among others hosts who , in face of somebody like the genius of Abhijit Iyer Mitra, seem to be quite overwhelmed by their guest's brilliance, so they mostly fail to put up such a great show as this host has brought out for us. As a 29 year old millennial, I loved it bro. Absolutely. Consuming atleast one podcast a day for the last half a decade or so, Ive come to realise, probably the more ‘Massier’ guys out there, try to dumb down every single statement. Probably the base line assumption is catering to all the viewers. Where i personally feel they go wrong is, the Gen z today, the guy or girl out there, whose a decade younger to me, has far more global exposure at their age, than i did. And THEY WILL UNDERSTAND. Kudos to you. Consuming your content over the last year, I finally feel being addressed to. The 4th wall has indeed broken 😊
