Blendtec makes a great blender. I got the Blendtec Classic 570 at Costco on sale for 250$ in Red and this is a great blender. It blends fruit, ice cubes always into a nice smoothie with no chunks. Whats good you don't have to put much water in the blender for it to blend fruits and ice cubes

Hey, I am considering to have my first blender. And I want this one to last a considerably long enough time and capable for multiple purposes (like most of those food processing functions). Well I think it has to be a blendtec one right. However there are quite a few similar models to be compared with. Which would be the best for me?
