I love how they're adding all of these classic airplanes to the game. Modern planes are cool, but I really like to fly the older, simpler planes.

Another plane to add to my wishlist - I have so many planes and little airports in my wishlist I will get them all eventually. I normally buy 1 plane and 1 airport per month, but if theres a sale I do end up buying a few more. I have spent probably near on £500 on MSFS (that includes buying the actual premium-deluxe version). It does make me wonder how much people actually spent on MSFS. Plus there is all the free addons too, but I don't have too much in community folder around 20 or so little airports. I love my vfr flying doing little bushtrips etc.

Just thinking perhaps the active pitch might be as a result of the relatively short length fuselage. The wing span, like the Ju52, is quite long. Awesome, looking fwd to your next adventure, thanks for letting me tag along.

I like the change of location for this review mainly because it's up my ally of flying, the plane was made by Oliver Moser the same guy who made both the Ju-52 and the Do-J Wal. and your not wrong with South America having some of these planes, countries like Brazil, Colombia, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina had a few of them. also if you get access to the Got Friends PZL-104 Wilga you should recreate this route with that plane.

This one is a moiré fever dream! Thanks for the great review, I didn't even know about this release. I love WWI combat flightsims, and it's great to see familiar gauges and magneto's and Bosch starters and everything. The engine won't be the BMWIII, though...it revs too fast for that and the RPM gauge doesn't even accomodate it. As for handling, I had the worst time landing it...it just want to keep going! And the rudder lacks the authority for a good sideslip. I also managed to take off from a standstill...with a tailwind. The low speed handling seems a bit off.

@HarryVoyager2 жыл бұрын
The early taildraggers with skids did not have wheel brakes. You braked by pulling back on the stick to dig the skid in. Not really sure on how light/heavy the controls should be. Looking at the Wiki article, it has an empty weight of 2000-3000 pounds, max take-off of about 5,000lb. A Bonanza G36 is about 3600 lbs max weight, but has a 181 ft^2 wing vs the 474 ft^2 wing on the F13e, but I seem to recall the Bonanza specifically had its stick force tuned to be on the heavier side to make it an easier cruising plane, so nto sure.

No reason to have concern of the radial engine in the replica vs an inline in the classic version. The classic version ALSO flew with a variety of inline and radial engines. The airframe was just a starting point for a number of different builds.

Just curious? a fantastic aircraft for MSFS but you state the ceiling is 16000ft ASL? human limitations are normally 10000 feet in aviation terms for an open or unpressurised cockpit? so would assume pilots used oxygen masks above this?

At 2:23 - made by Olivia Moore ? I think you mean Mr. Oliver Moser. As for brakes, 'virtual' brakes are a good idea - I've heard that the Orbx-built Fokker F.VII is impossible to stop on a runway because it doesn't have them, and that's put me off buying it..

Whiskey compass again numbered in the wrong direction...they'll never get it right...
@DoctorShocktor2 жыл бұрын
Wrong. Just flew it and the whiskey compass horizontal display is marked just fine. You’re either an xbox gamer or not a pilot, or a GPS/Glass Panel simmer. The horizontal display of a liquid compass has to be marked the “opposite” of what you see on an overhead type physical or digital compass display because it’s turning the “opposite” direction. Not intuitive, but it’s how it works when you look at it and think about it. Go up in any MSFS aircraft with a liquid compass and you’ll see how it works. So yeah, they “got it right” this time, and hundreds of other times so far. To give you the benefit of the doubt, THIS compass is a little confusing at 90 degrees where for some reason it just has a big “0” instead of “90”. But otherwise it’s perfectly fine.
