Restoring 1992 dodge Ram b250 Van that set for 3 years. Can it slowly be revived in the dead of winter in 20 or 30 degree weather. In this series me and my dad are trying to still detect why the starter motor is not turning on ignition. We had the starter tested at an auto parts store in the previous video and it works. After putting it back in myself the starter still is not turning so we think its a ground issue but its something else. In this episode you will see that it was something quite simple to get it turning but its still a lot of issues ahead that need to be diagnosed before it goes on a road trip. Soon I will get back to some urbex and other stuff but the caprice is not safe to drive at the moment because of the frame rotted really BAD!! In the back I see its worse then I thought and with no working shocks as well. Soon I will be back on the road I'm hoping by the end of January in the van for some urbex videos to take off again.

I've worked on tons of these vans and daily drive a 91 b250, One thing I can tell you is that the main wiring harness under the hood laying over the brake master cylinder is from the factory wedged behind the brake master cylinder. So that means at one point somebody has loosened the brake master cylinder to pull that main wiring harness out and possibly replace inline fuses, where it is all wrapped up in tape right there on top of the master cylinder is a handful of inline fuses. If you ever have any problems and can't seem to track them down, it's definitely a good place to check, also the rims on your van only came on 91, 92 and '93s. They came with two different types of center caps. The completely smooth ones like I have and the ones that say Dodge like yours. The rims and center caps themselves are considered kind of rare, so if you ever change rims, definitely don't let them go for cheap

There are THREE THINGS THAT MAKES A ENGINE RUN!!! FUEL, AIR, and Combustion. I have a 72 Dodge tradesman and a 90 Ram Van. Now do you have fuel ? I your FUEL pump working? It sounds like you engine is starving for fuel, are you getting spark? Pull out a spark plug and lay it on the body of the engine with it connected to the spark plug wire, then turn over the engine, if you don't SEE any SPARK, find out way? Is that a 360 size engine? Good engine 👍 you may have a bad fuel pump, if you see spark! Trace your fuel line and unhook your fuel filter and put some cardboard under the area where the filter is and turn over the engine,see any gas? If not bad pump, you don't want to chase good MONEY to bad by thinking it's this or that, RIGHT 😉 how old is that gas? Gas goes bad after a couple of months. If you have a bad pump replace and buy new fuel filters for that year.

Spray some carb cleaner in air intake while cranking if it srarts its fuel related if not is spark..or ecm..or coil..crank sensor etc

Just ordered a new fuel pump and fuel inside was really old so will be replacing gas after cleaning the tank.
