When an engine first fires, it truly is an exciting day, seeing your excitement reminded me of myself whenever I get an engine of mine fired for the time, such a great feeling, great job man.

It's very cute watching this. Such a timid young man at first. Fire extinguisher at the ready (good idea really) but he was soooo careful LOL. Great video!

Congratulations! You get extra points for using the harness, and for most who will never attempt running an engine on a stand a few minutes of trouble shooting video can't capture the hours of work leading up to it, that drive a sense of accomplishment once it's running that's frankly hard to describe. As you said, the running part is pretty simple, once you've walked that path.

Thanks for watching Chris and leaving a nice comment! Your right it’s sooo rewarding getting it fired up after all the setting up and troubleshooting. I’ll take those bonus points as I wanted to run the harness and get it fired up exactly how I’m gonna instal it in the car :)

A LOT of old motor homes do three or four vacations then sit and get old. The average vacation run isn't usually much more than a couple of thousand miles. So if you think about it like that 11000 miles on that engine makes perfect sense. I could be 111000 miles if someone lived while driving in it but that's not the average.

Very true fir how clean it is and everything is factory and with all the input from people watching the video I’m starting to believe it’s accurate mileage

Sounds nice and lumpy, wonder what kinda cam those RVs had. That thing's gonna rip my man.

I think the RV 440’s came with a bigger cam for more torque. I was surprised how lumpy it sounds. Can’t wait to put sone nice mufflers abs see how it sounds then!
