Ok good news and bad. I will be the owner of the ABT Sportsline TT and we have the keys. No paperwork for the car and at this moment cannot get it out of the country to the UK or any where else. I have saved it from being cut into two parts and sent overseas to Germany.. I own three TTs now and thinking of getting another S-Line. My project on the ABT is get it into perfect shape. We have a Fuji speedway here in Japan about an hour away. If I cannot use it on the road it can be a track car.

my pully bolts were rounded. previous garage had chiselled them off. and very kindly reinstalled them. leaving me with a 8 hour job to remove them. absolute nightmare. done now

great to see part 2 of this. Tomorrow I will get the price cost of this silver ABT in Japan I got a better look at it. Apart from a crushed left hand front wing and broken front bumper, spoiler and some very small dents and scratches its in much better condition than this one inside and underneath. No rust it appears. I keep you posted and look forward to more videos of this limited car.

Yes looks like I saved this ABT limited from getting cut into two and sent over seas to Germany. Car is complete just needs tidying up! I will be the owner!!

Nice work Mec. I hope he used his custom tool 4L3XLUV5J12 to tension the belt? It needs to be just tight to feel right, or it'll whine at higher revs

Great job guys, thanks for showing the cam belt procedure will come in handy when I tackle mine but not looking forward to it, ha. Downpipe looks a bit awkward to get off, hopefully all the bolts come out ok for you. Might be a good time to put a 3" downpipe and exhaust on, as they do help with the performance. Be nice to see the car restored it looks awesome with the wider arches.😀

The cambelt wasnt tp bad a job apart from getting that engine mount in and out lol not sure what alex is gona do with the exhaust yet as its the factory ABT system on it so i guess we will see on that one, glad you liked the video !
