I just broke the left crank house on my 03. Thanks for this video! Its my very first bike so my first repair is this "major" one you just presented. Thanks!

Would you consider making a video of how you removed the carb? I read in another comment how you did it, but seeing the process would be really helpful. I’ve scoured KZbin and can’t find a decent video on how to do it.

Nice video dude, I’m about to do the same, after you put the carb back on what did you do next to start it? A couple throttle twists?
@trailbloggerАй бұрын
sorry it has been too long but if i remember right this was during the summer and it was pretty warm out, believe it was no choke and about 1/4 to half throttle then give it a little more while it is turning over

how do u like the wr450 compared to raptor and banshee?
@trailblogger6 жыл бұрын
I like it but I am not as good on 2 wheels. I have more seat time on quads. I had a wr250r before this that I rode all over. The power difference with the 450f is insane. Did not expect this much

Trailblogger yo man I buy almost for free the first WRF 450 with electric starter 2005/21/7.But I was many years stuck with 2strockes u know light with enough power all 125 cuz 250 was the same those years 1990/2000 I was deep motocross style type but those are 100% different u know that.My question is what probably happen & it's 2 heavy when turning left right,it's like stuck when I turn is it the upside down one of them with problem or what if you know.GV man.

Do you ever come down to southern cali?
@trailblogger6 жыл бұрын
I actually work down in southern cali once in awhile but normally we ride up north. been wanting to ride more down there when we get the toy hauler more setup. it needs a few things like a couple of new tires etc.

Well I've had friends who have lived in the San Jose, woodland area and they do claim it's way nicer. So I don't blame you lol. Im in Bakersfield. I've been trying to buy my first quad, but no luck on finding one being sold for a good price. I did mess up because I didn't buy a clean Honda 700xx the guy wanted 3k
@trailblogger6 жыл бұрын
Trivelino10 never rode a 700xx I mainly stick to Yamaha but I admit honda makes nice machines also

AYFKM??!!!!?? The whole reason anyone would watch your video is to learn how to remove the carburetor!! We know how to take a carb apart!! How the F*&^%$CK does someone take the funking carb out with out taking the whole rear of the bike off?? you didn't show the most important part!! Sheesh-a Marie my fine feathered friend!!!
@trailblogger5 жыл бұрын
holy cow bud, I'm sorry I skipped that part of the video. sometimes I miss things. you just have to turn it sideways and wrestle it out of there. really manhandle it. I have taken this style carb off my old YFZ450 quad I didnt even really think about including that section. if I happen to shoot another carb video I will be sure to include that section. the main goal of this video was to show the broken kicker gear and how to fix that as it was the main issue why they were selling the bike (the previous owner assumed the engine was seized). thanks for watching and leaving some feedback. cheers.
