Living in Kentucky most of my life I've had my fair share of mud dauber nest being a pain in the neck. They're a type of wasp Rich. As a commercial truck tech I was cringing most of the video when talking about the air systems and the trans air lines lol Glad you were able to take her the show. It's a beautiful truck Rich.

You did an excellent job getting that Kenworth k100 cab over up and running. After it's been restored, and it's parts replaced, you rebuilt it from the ground up. Now All that remains is for you to get all the lights working make sure the brake lights are functional and it passes all US-DOT specifications and safety standards.

Who doesn’t love a little poke yoke? The bugs are called dirt dobbers. I’ve never encountered them anywhere in Canada. I’ve been to Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and am an Albertan. They look like wasps, but don’t bite. They’re everywhere here in Texas. Such a cool project and I’m really happy to see it rolling now (even if I saw it rolling on the other video lol)

This is one of my dream’s, a nice shop to build big trucks and everything else. Takes deep pockets to build with the big boys, but they can pay for themselves, that’s a good return on the investment.

For me, this whole truck is Pretty Kool, but the fact you put a cabover on a non cabover frame is just crazy amazing I love big jobs that aren't supposed to work but im not kidding that seemed like it was going to be near impossible to get it to work.. now I want to do it rather than do a frame stretch. doubt I will but sure looks like a ton of fun.. appreciate you having the "stones" to attempt it and knock it out of the park... Rite On!!!

Dirt dobbers! Great video. When you decided to swap to 13 I was wondering why. The are great if you run the mountains a lot. I have the 3406e with a 10 and I love it. I mainly run Texas now. It will do 102 and shifting a lot is highly over rated.

@Remington Steel mine is turned up to 550, but I have never put it on a dyno. It does seem to go around most trucks up the steep grades.
@AChrivia2 жыл бұрын
13:01 the yellow valve is supposed to operate the tractor brakes only. As long as the tractor breaks are all applied and released with the yellow valve, that part of the air system is correct. The brake pedal is supposed to operate both tractor and trailer brakes but obviously only when hauling a trailer. When not hauling a trailer, the brakes should only be applied to the tractor so in this case, that too would be right so long as the brakes also can be applied to a trailer.
@joeblow20632 жыл бұрын
The issue was more about the exhaust vent from the release valve. Not releasing properly was causing slow/insufficient travel on the rear cans.
