Love your brain being put to good use, you always figure things out. Still miss your shows "Alaska the Last Frontier." I never missed recording a one so I could watch when I wanted. Your children are adorable. Keep up the good works!!!! God Bless your family!!!

If there’s anything I’ve learnt from watching you and Otto over the years is that there isn’t an internal combustion engine in existence that you can’t fix. You’re the motor whisperers.

I just came upon your Dad's channel and then yours. I used to watch you guys all of the time on "Alaska The Last Frontier" and really missed keeping up with you guys. I noticed on this video three boys in the background and I believe the last time I saw you and your wife you just had you first child; time flies. I look forward to following your adventures again. I'm an old (74) HVAC guy and one of the first things I learned early in my career (early 1970's) was from a then older worker who told me "Always remember, to get an oil burner (and by extension any gas or diesel engine) to work you need three things, air, fuel and spark". You surely learned quite well from your Dad over the years.
@mary-kittybonkers23745 ай бұрын
I remember when your Dad got a face full of gasoline. Fortunately he acted quickly with the bread to soak it up from his mouth, and was hosed down to prevent absorption through his skin. I hope that he has recovered well after his altercation with the cattle, regards to all on the homestead from the North West of England, UK.

When I was 13 I put a Wacker packer engine on a 24" bike frame with little wheels and tires and a Maytag washing machine belt clutch. It was a 2 cycle engine of about 2 1/2 h.p. The Wacker packer I knew of bounced around on black top or gravel and had handles like a bike. P.S. I think I'd have put a new piece of hose on that pump to see if it works before I put that new one on. Save a buck er' two. Nice how to video.

My dad used to own an asphalt paving company. So a lot of packing dirt, gravel and hot asphalt. The way he raught me was the water on the tank was to help with sticking. He would always wet the dirt and gravel with a hose to help with compaction if water was needed.
