People can say what they want but the 3 best center midfield players where Keane, veira and Scholes. People seem to discredit Keane over the years in england because he is Irish and push other players up because they are English. The most important player fergie ever had at United was Keane, ronaldo is the greatest player of all time and would of easily been fergies most important player by a mile but left for Madrid but still is a legend for us.

He has also won 2 major competitions with his country which is a smaller nation in footballing terms in Portugal over messi's Argentina. Ronaldo has been a success in different types of teams in his career, while Messi has come up through barca youth systems, playing with other great players who came up through the same system.

Not a United fan but for me, i think Carrick should take the place of Roy Keane, Carrick don't get enough recognition for his role, he controls the tempo of the game very well and provide more balance to the team...and also Keane might mistakenly tackle Vieira or vice versa. Lastly, Wenger should be the manager imo, Wenger is probably the most underrated coach, if Wenger had left Arsenal and join clubs with money to spend he would most likely have won more major trophies. The Invincibles team was just something very special in football history..
