His main responsibility is to oversee Live Events, just like when he was in WWE. AEW is about to start touring house shows, so they need somebody with this experience. As for putting him on TV? One could argue both points, it is/isn't good, we will see, but his Last Outlaw stuff on the indies has been spectacular (see: feud with Effy), and if this is a short run on TV with a PPV match to send him backstage and in good graces with AEW fans and staff, then I am all for it. Chock on that, slapnuts! Also, cool channel.

Thinking about it even more. I think the AEW audience of guys in their early 20s genuinely can’t understand why the older fans are saying TK and the bucks running a company is crazy because we have seen professional examples in our own lives of guys who mirror TK. We can see why AEW is going to fail, it’s not hating on the company, it’s voicing frustration that TK won’t let anyone else play with his shiny toys
