In the end, they go on a 4-couple Gondola ride. The couples are: -Josh and Hilda -Harvey and Zelda -Sabrina and Roland -Salem and the bird It's a funny and beautiful way to end the episode. and end Roland's time on the show. The is my 2nd-favorite Valentine's Day episode after The Equalizer.

I'm almost sorry to see Roland go, I loved the fact every time we see him he has a different job as a magical creature ... but him being creepy to Sabrina was getting old, especially since in a previous episode Sabrina even helped Roland get a date with his ex (assuming after that date they broke up again).

Aside from a single episode per season, eg the Crucible in S1, Disney world in S2 etc and occasional inserts, I think this was one of the first times they went on location for a scene like Sabrina at the phone

It’s really weird that Josh was into Hilda even on a rebound by a magic spell. It just makes it even creepier he was actually into her niece genuinely. It just makes the writers choice to depict a guy at the end of his bachelors in college who’s 22 years old, to go out with a senior in highschool who is 17 even more unnerving.

It wasn't Josh's fault, he was literally hit by cupid's arrow ... errr ... blowdart. Also the effects were temporary and Hilda obviously didn't return his feelings. Also the first episode they teased Josh and Sabrina he blew her off because he didn't like the 4-year age-gap ... only to realize after he was stupid cause Sabrina is such a nice person.

She would have, but the spell ended when Zelda took the love blowdart shooter out of Roland's hand and shot Josh and made him fall in love with Hilda, which meant that there were no longer 2 mortals fighting for her heart
