I doubt that is why he is doing it. I am pretty sure it's for his cardio vascular system, but it is just another small benefit from adding legs.
@godlyaardvark72659 ай бұрын
You’re right about how Levan training legs will be a good improvement to his overall health and some endurance, but training legs DOES NOT produce HGH or more test in your upper body. This is an old old myth that has been disproven

Sorry, I was going off of 2020, 2021 studies. I was also looking at in a way that training 3 days and not doing legs, but adding legs and training 4 or 5 days a week. Most studies don't look at the spread over a week's time frame, and focus on just the one workout, and thank you for the information. I will do some digging on the research and see if this study was performed over a week or several weeks or just 1 day.

I agree and I think it is due to his wrist...or the worry of hurting it, so he is not applying that much pressure. Maybe, he is letting go when he feels pressure in the spot of the past injury. Is it common for athletes to be over cautious after a bad injury. Especially there first.

No. Definitely not a facade. Levan had a legit full 5 months off. He may be a little stronger than what he's showing but not much. He said he knows he can lift more and feels to but he's going to slowly build back up to be safe. Which is smart. Glad he's all healed up. This is the match everyone wants to see. I just hope Devon can bring an actual match this time.

@XYZZYX-g3l9 ай бұрын
It WOULD be nice if the injury was fake and he just wanted to do some vacation. If the event was real and he wants to go slow why commit to April. 6-12 months would be better imo.
@StationaryEarth9 ай бұрын
Levan already stated that his plan is to give himself 2 months to return to his previous level as closely as possible, then the next 2 months will be used to surpass his previous level. He knows that Devon has levelled up and Levan said he plans to come in stronger than ever. Also, as he is just starting his official training coming off of a terrible injury, it is clear that his team is going to take their time to rebuild Levan's soft tissue foundation in the right wrist. I wouldn't try to over analyze the weights or exercises he is using to train his wrist just yet. There will probably be a great deal of low resistance, high repetition work for the wrist to strengthen the tendons for the first couple of weeks at least. It would be best to go off of Levans own timeline. If Levan is still tentatively training his wrist after 2 months, that will certainly be a strong indicator that something is not well. Lets observe how he progresses in in the next 2 months.
@SavageArmWrestling9 ай бұрын
100% I was more pointing that his curl is already really high, he has added a small amount of legs and for his usual wrist work, he is still kind of favoring and taking it slow. With all the other weights so, high and the wrist still being rebuilt...I don't think he just started. I think he has been training. I think that he is just starting to train his wrist, but thank you for deep input. I think we should wait and see what comes out, but I am also big on the fact that Levan is also looking into a back up, by training a press in the worst case scenario where his raw side pressure is not enough.

@XYZZYX-g3l9 ай бұрын
Imo you start training slowly and if everything works fine you THEN commit to a match. NOW he can still swap to a later date but it would "seem" bad in many devon fanboys eyes. Imo he should slowly come back, see everything is already, then commit, and then PEAK.
@StationaryEarth9 ай бұрын
@@XYZZYX-g3l I agree. I think it is extremely foolish for Levan to compete against Devon in his first match returning from an injury. Levan insists that he is not underestimating Devon's level. Only time will tell. It is extremely easy for someone that has been so dominant (like Levan) to underestimate competitors that they have already beaten.

@SavageArmWrestling9 ай бұрын
You could be right, but based on how Levan looks and how he is training his wrist may come into play on if Levan could lose his wrist. Based on a conversation between Devon and Travis, it would be crazy for Devon to not attack that opening. It may sound bad to say it like that, but Devon knows the strength difference, and he will take every chance he can.
