@@CanariasCanariass I'm not so sure about that. Round 1, Levan did exert himself to secure the pin, and it was a close call. After that it was far more one sided but Levan was sweating. Compare that to Devon vs Denis, Denis looked like he wasn't even trying at all. The final pin in that match where Denis let him have it, Devon was exerting 100% while Denis looked like he wasn't even trying at all. In Devon vs Levan, Levan was absolutely trying hard and exerting himself. Without the injury, I still think Levan would have won but, it wouldn't have been a total blowout like Denis vs Devon imo.

16:03 - this was Devon’s exact shoulder lock position with Denis years ago, and Denis just ripped through Devon’s lock. Watching how (against this position) Prudnik seemed to be struggling, where he couldn’t even move Devon’s hand by an inch, Vs. how Levan strained himself quite a lot for a win against Devon in a similar position where Devon’s Lock wasn’t as deep as it was with Prudnik & Denis, Vs. How easily Denis could Win from here against Devon’s equally deep lock, that’s just incredible. Peak Denis will beat Levan - no doubt!

Devon since the time he entered arm wrestling world, sure is the one broaden this sport to all horizon of this globe and this man is a living legend for the entertaining talents, sport man ship and continuous proving the athletes like John Brzenk, and like himself, like the others in WAL, in the world still can be in the game while the other sports worn out the athletes with the injuries. Don’t worry it’s for show. It’s just a foul and means nothing. They would never determine a match by fouls in a rule set like this. What they’re doing can’t get achieved with that much difference in length in forearm. The only way is if the shorter limbed guy raises his arm. It’s just theatrics.

I just do not know what posses him , demons I guess , Devon starts to behave like complete douchebag , it looks like he has some private issues and he tries to succeed in life and armwrestling is all his got , I almost feel sorry for his ass ! Prydnik lost but he show the class on the match and outside , brilliant man. When Devon started to pull Prydniks arm and cursing at refs ooo boy why he does not try that with somebody else , he would get his arm broken , f..g scum !
@doma35542 жыл бұрын
14:34 The part that is the most exciting and comes to mind when remembering this match is when Devon yells "Yeah!", elated to know that he's able to equal or even overcome Prudnik's post in an orthodox style, and doesn't have to throw himself into the King's Move just to survive. That's the way I interpret anyway, he even constantly calls himself "old" and "broken", even after winning the match. I feel like he surprised himself and was made very happy when this happened. It looks like it's also almost everyone else's favorite part, given that it's also the **Most replayed** part of the video, if you hover over the video progress bar.
@doxy7023 Жыл бұрын
Not necessarily. He knew he's solid in other angles than just the king's move. He's a supermatch specialist. He uses the king's move in round 1 to stop and do massive damage to opponents hand and drain them of energy. That way it's way easier to do other stuff in later rounds as he's fresh in these angles unlike their opponent who usually desperately tries to pin the king's move round 1 cause the pin looks so so close (it's just a bait that Devon sets up, he's deliberately in that open of an angle round 1). He typically employed this strategy ever since Wal switched to supermatch format in 2018, at least against orthodox style pullers. Though if he goes against specialists in unorthodox angles (Michael Todd, Jerry Cadorette), he counters them directly (climbing out of Michael's kings move, meeting Jerry at center in a hook and not letting him get his press angle down)

I love this sport, being a regular fan for years now. Seeing the dedication of all of these athletes is just amazing and there are a lot of great people within this sport, which is one of the reasons I'll continue loving it for a long time. The person that got me to love this sport in the first place - is hands down Devon Larratt, he is just an amazing personality and a great human being. Well deserved my man, you are one in a billion.

bit late and not sure if you've heard of him, but look up knees over toes guy. cant vouch for if he can really bring back knees from as bad as he says, but he claims to Coach alot of pro athletes and supposedly brought his own knees back from multiple surgeries so he could be legit. check him out, he sells programs but from what i seen you can get most if not all of his info sifting through his vids(may be better to look at old ones if they are still up), few simple to set up exercises and gives out standards/progressions for all of em. can say from my experience my whole lower body( including knee my doc recommended physio for) felt way better just doin a few of his movements, when I was outta the gym for a while and stopped doin them noticed knees and total mobility got worse

i saw PRUDNIK talking about devon holding your hand during the match. But you're a boxer, you can't say the same, when you're fighting matt and it's clear that you're stronger and the fists have prevailed and won. But when you meet Devon you are completely underpowered and helpless because Devon is really strong so you feel your fist is at a disadvantage and Devon and the referee said so. I feel like a world warrior, accept defeat and train, keep calm to become a legend! If you win, pat someone's head, if you lose, call it like this, the attitude is hate. You still have a lot to learn!
