Luke Evans is smart, speaks several languages enough to get by , reads voraciously, takes apart music and rebuilds a piece before recording it with orchestration and back up, chooses roles based on diversity and what he can bring to the character, he appreciates his fans and loves to entertain them. Many people don't know he's gay because he plays straight so well. As Bond people won't necessarily ever know he is gay if the script is not written that way. I have faith in Luke George Evans. He looks amazingly hot for his age.

Agree. Always thought Clive Owen should have got the gig instead of Pierce Brosnan. If you see him in a tuxedo in the movie Croupier, he was tailor made for the role. Just don’t think he was that keen on taking it.

I hadn't heard that he was in the running, but he's a brilliant choice. If you watch Dracula Untold you know he's a legit leading man. I had no idea about his voice too. I think Idris, or more likely another younger black actor, is more likely, but Luke would be perfect.

Luke Evans certainly could embody the complexity, and air of mystery that Daniel Craig offered the role. The depth of his voice would be somewhat lacking I think, but that’s really just a nit picky detail that probably wouldn't matter much if at all. And his singing in the video was spot on! If he does get the role, I think he would do it justice. Thus far Evans is the best option on the table by far!!!!
