I would like to see how next season pans out before writing off Masai this team has been riddled with new lineups, injuries and controversies all season when all of are starters are on the floor this team honestly looks solid

I only see this narrative under the Rogers media umbrella. They scrutinize Masai heavily for the past 3/4 years while their other sports teams haven’t won in 30+ years (Leafs much longer than that…). I hope Rogers accounts for the fallout once he leaves as he’s one of our main selling points to players. I know I personally don’t want to go back to no US players wanting to play here. Maybe the plan is to just have Canadians and international players on this team…

No GM/President is perfect everyone makes mistakes. Masai has actually built a solid roster after trading everyone. In the draft they need either a 4 or a 2 depending on what you think Scottie is. He's probably a 3 but can play for like RJ who is a 2 but can play 3.

Masai has been snakebitten in making trades after vowing to be loyal to guys he signed. Management has to make tough decisions for the betterment of their team and not let personal loyalties dictate their moves.

I don't see the vision here other than settling to be just competitive.

Ahaha all these people saying Masai is a problem. Leafs fans need to stfu at this point! You know literally nothing if youre seriously convinced Masai hasnt made every right choice minus the fact he didnt trade Freddy before free agency and gave up a top 6 1st for Jakob!

Keep Masai, get rid of Bobby (though i do like him). Bring in a new GM and have Masai take a more hands off approach. Masai is way to good of a spokesman and ambassador for basketball and NBA to lose IMO.

If Bell/Rogers buys out Tanenbaum, then Masai is likely out in next 2 years.

I actually think what happens with Justin Trudeau may have an impact. Masai clearly has ambitions beyond basketball and sports and is of course good friends with the Right Honourable Prime Minister. If Trudeau were to start or head to an NGO or some sort I could see Masai joining or even if he wanted to be an Ambassador or Senator and Trudeau made him an appointment before losing power.

Its hard to judge Masai now. Its the fourth quarter for him. This has been multiple mistakes with player retention. The culture is hanging by a thread. Scottie's smile IS the culture.

You can absolutely judge Masai. He’s lost and scattered which explains the disaster that was the 2023/2024 season.

Love Masai, but he allowed Fred and Siakam to take our identity hostage for their respective gains.

Masai Ujiri, in his first term, built up an excellent team that won (with a bit of luck) an NBA championship. He deserved a new contract. In his recent years, he has made a serious of blunders and turned a championship team into one of the weakest in the league. So it is time for a change.

Masai and Webster have been a disaster. I don’t know how they come out of this unscathed after this abysmal poor product. They should be grilled mercilessly in an end of yr presser. I feel like the Raptors should be fined BIG TIME for intentionally tanking. The NBA has done this before. This franchise has not been this bad since inception. This is unacceptable EVEN IN A REBUILD for a team that’s been in the league for almost 30 yrs and just won a chip in 2019.
