No bro! some games requires more ram than 8GB for example cod warzone, Forza horizon 5, and some resident evil series. If u use 8GB ram for these titles, the ram will be locked in the maximum capacity and you will get lower fps. After upgrading 8gb to 16gb ram, you will see a massive fps boost on some titles.

I Disagree as I just used 8 16 32 64 GB So the difference I found was surprising 8GB gave the same fps as other ram but the game stuttred the game had massive 1% lows then 16GB worked amazing There was no diffrence in 16 32 and 64 GB ram the reason being that the ram wasnt being fully utallized... but In a LOT of multitasking like gaming streaming and other apps 16GB was at 95% usage which meant that it was being strangled so i would reccomend atleast 16 and maximum 32 64GB is pretty much useless

My result: When I used 8gb Ram, I got 75~80fps in SOTTR, using GTX 1650 super. When I used 16gb Ram, I got 78~85fps in SOTTR, using the same GPU. You would say it's the same, right? WRONG! The Game at 16gb had much more 1% and 0.1% Lows, meaning the game was much smoother than 8gb, The 8gb just stuttered a lot. Same with video editing. With 8gb ram, the playback and scrubbing the timeline stuttered a lot, while 16gb was much smoother. In 2024, minimum 16gb is required in a PC. 32GB is overkill, but okay if you want to keep your PC for long.

you get almost no difference in fps because you're testing a GPU based game with a good graphics card. game will run smoother, low latency but not much fps boost you should try this test with a CPU based game like Valorant to actually get very high boosts.
