We were together 8 years then apart for 3! We kept in touch during the breakup and stayed civil, but never spoke about our personal lives. Then finally she messaged about seeing me and we started up again. Everything seemed different in a good way. She was more open and relaxed, it felt like we moved on from so many of our past problems. Then about a year in, the old "her" started creeping back in. About another 6 months go by, and she dumped me again thru a Facebook message. My ex is now in a rebound with someone who has been up front with her that he is not monogamous. My dumper ex told me he fell out of love with me and not just with me but everything in his life and that he needs to be alone because if he stays he will ruin me. He told me that I didn't make it to the end of his story but my 'page' will remain one of his favorites. And that's nice but it still hurt. Literally month before his decision he was talking alone with my dad about marrying me. We were dating for 3 years and he proposed to me literally 1 and a half year before leaving me. I know everyone has the right to leave and I respect that, I just feel so stupid because we both treated each other well and etc and he just dipped out of nowhere. Oh also found out he shares a playlist on spotify with his ex (they broke up 6 years ago and had no contact since then so I feel even more embarresed) one month after the breakup. That’s going to be a personal choice. Have you both done the work? Are you prepared to starting again like you just met? Can you leave the old relationship buried to start a new one? Can you both have the hard conversations that must be had? Can you both fix the shit that broke the first relationship? After you go through the above, then you can think about a full reconciliation.

Today we have 30 days NC, she started to watch my instagram stories for a week, started posting story selfies with herself almost daily like she wants to attract my attention, but i dont watch her stories from my personal account to not breach the NC rule somehow. And i dont know what the hell is going on😅😂. What are your thoughts on monkeybranching/rebounding to a long-distance thing. My ex-wife is 37 and mokeybranched to a 19-year old back in june. This person live in Michigan and we live in idaho. He has visited multiple times but I am almost positive they are both on their best behavior during this time and I suspect things would deteriorate rather quickly if by some chance in hell he were to ever move here. I think it's highly unlikely. I don't know if it's still going on or not as I haven't talked to her since the divorce was finalized in Dec. My ex walked out in the middle of the night after we have been together and lived together for 21 years. She said she needed to go stay with her brother to work on herself... we did have what seemed like a great relationship we still went on dates a few nights a week. We were intimate still 2 times a day or more, even the night she left. @The Love Fix the situation. My partner always mentioned the time difference and distance were issues. As a generally anxious individual, over the course of our relationship, she talked about how her mental health was deteriorating. She started dating a coworker now after 2 weeks. After we broke up, she told me that she loved me (since we never expressed those words directly to each other during our relationship) but the current situation was what made her end things. After finding out she had a partner (that she was speaking to someone) I told her my goodbyes and went NC.
